Do you collect Breyer Halloween models? Who did you get during 2021?

My favorite from last year is Jack! I love the holographic glitter. It's so hard to accurately depict on camera but it's fabulous in person! I also have Eek and Mini Spirit. I originally got two Mini Boogeyman in my bland bags, and since I don't collect that mold, I traded for the other 2. Nothing really caught my eye this year so I skipped the sale. I don't collect Tabitha's mold but I hope that when they do a mini of her it is a mold I like. That purple is so pretty! I have a bunch of the older Halloween models, but my favorites that I don't yet own are Skullduggery and especially Merry Widow.

Last year I went whole hog (for me at any rate), and got Thriller, Eek!, and one of the stablemates. I ended up with Jack, and while not my favourite at the time, he's grown on me. To the point where I'm kinda hoping for his counterpart this year. But any of this year's will do me just fine. The Halloween horses are what firmly put me in the "Ya know what? Decos are ridiculous and AWESOME." camp. I only have a few of the trads for now, but am working my way through finding more when they come up at the right price. So I have Ichabod (I found one as new old stock one at a local dealer), Apparition, and Thriller, as well as a restoration project Nosferatu (one day I will get brave enough to try to reattach his tail!). And Maelstrom just showed up at my local brick and mortar this week, so he's got pride of place on my windowsill for a little while. I'm waiting on Tabitha and my stablemate from this year. But the nice thing is, I like all of the stablemates this year, so it won't matter which one I end up with. The EYES on that fighter stablemate are so interesting. I don't know if I've noticed that variation in others that I've seen. And I hear you on Thriller not glowing much. Mine is a dud in that department. I left him out in full summer sun for an entire day, came in, went into a dark room, and... a little bit of a glow? Nothing to write home about. Which was a bummer. But I really like Thriller's green eyes, so he gets to stay.

I had all of the Halloween TR except the 2 Breyer Event SR’s Frankensteed on the MFT & Frankenstein on the Mustang. I’m downsizing the herd since I hope to move in the near future & I’ve sold several of my Halloween models. I’m definitely keeping Spirit of Hallow’s Eve since he’s my favorite & his little mini-me SM Fighter.

I just bought Eek on ebay.I wish I bought him last year. The spooky stablemates sold out this year I swear in 5 mins didnt get even 1. I never collected decorators or Halloween models until I bought this years Maelstrom. He is gorgous I am waiting for Tabitha now snagged her up because I am hooked now.

Nice haul! How do you get them to glow? Do you have to put them in the sunlight? They really are bright!
