This music video is absolutely mind-blowing! 🎵🎥It's inspiring to see Las Cruces becoming a destination of choice for talented individuals seeking new opportunities. The city's growth and cultural diversity are nothing short of remarkable. And let's not forget the breathtaking homes in Metro Verde and Sonoma Ranch! These communities redefine elegance and sophistication, offering a dream lifestyle to their fortunate residents. Thank you for capturing the essence of Las Cruces' exciting transformation!
I was one of the piece of garbage cynical Mayfield High kids that made fun of this video when it debuted, thinking it was so whacky for someone to make a song about a city I was so tired of. I am now 31 and over the years I have grown to appreciate not only country, but my home, the comforts it brings, and the beauty of a meaningful and powerful lyrical delivery. Watching your Old Together video tonight, I honestly find myself emotional. You are a gem I am proud to share a hometown with. Thank you for never giving homage to the peanut gallery. I am so glad I know your name and can keep up with your music. Cheers and much love here from Las Cruces. I may have been a jerk, but the journey made me a much better person, and made your voice that much more meaningful.
Ever since I was stationed at Holloman Air Force Base in Alamogordo, I'd visit Las Cruces on most weekends. I fell in love with that little town and have been trying to get back there since I left. Love this song.
KGRT Las Cruces gives you a lot of radio play air time even now (September, 21). And they ALWAYS remark about what a great voice you have after it is over. In fact, it is their persistence to playing one of your songs over and over again that sent me here.
Life-long Texan moving to Las Cruces next year! People are just as friendly (maybe more so) climate beats central Texas to death, views are outstanding, monsoons are cool (and wet) and prices are 50 cents on the dollar.
I'm 36 years old live in Texas but ever since I was a young child I used to migrate to Las Cruces NM with my family to work in the onion field beautiful place with beautiful people it's like my 2nd home and I hope I'll be able to visit soon❤
Bri, I know its since closed, but you forgot My Brother's Place! My Dad loved the Red Enchiladas with onions from La Posta and I loved the Green Enchiladas with onions and a egg over medium from My Brother's Place! Thank you for an awesome video.
Born and raised in Las Cruces, NM. I love it there and it will be a part of me but I was born to live in the South, not the south west. I definitely miss all my family there but man I love fishing. PS you guys did a great job at making las Cruces look really extravagant in the music video. 😂
I grew up in Las Cruces living there for 12 years from when I was 8 till 21... sometimes I miss it but we just have to move on and now I live in Albuquerque, NM
Funny Story. I was living in Silver City New Mexico after I returned from Costa Rica and you had just moved to Austin. Now we are practically Neighbors. We should go fishing some time. Rev. Nathon Q Dees Texas Guitar Legend.
Next time I watch a New Mexico State women's basketball game, I'll be aware that Las Cruces is also the home of Bri Bagwell, whose recent Facebook ad led to my becoming one of her fans.
Nice job Bri! 80% of my family is still in Cruces and Mesilla. Lake Lucero at White Sands is named after my moms dad. He owned all that land before they built the base. If you have met a Lucero, chances are they are family!
I've been in Cruces for 30 years. I love the food, the wine, the weather. But the traffic sucks, they drive soooooo slow in this town. And I'll never get used to strangers talking to me. Everywhere you go in this city, people come up and talk to you. It's like a city that thinks it's still a small town,,,,, which it was 30 years ago.
Very well said. I miss Las Cruces. I know its funny to say, but I was heartbroken when I found out My Brother's Place closed. Green enchiladas with onions and an egg over medium plus a cold Coors and I was in heaven. LOL! The pool tables were a plus too! Not to mention watching my neighbor cutting alfalfa with a John Deere swather (Windrower), the smell of fresh cut alfalfa, the smell of chile roasting, making my Aussie get soaking wet while retrieving her toy from an irrigation ditch... you get the idea. The room suddenly got really dusty!
Nelly's. High Desert Brewing. Fountain Theater. Southwest Kettle Corn at the farmer's market. Caliches. Vintage Wines in Mesilla. Chile 'Ritas. Burgers at Dick's. Guilty pleasure of Spanish Kitchen. Black Box Theatre. Dripping Springs. Yeah, we definitely enjoyed Las Cruces...
While listening to this song I couldn't help but think this song sure does sound like the visitors bureau of Las Cruces wrote her a nice check and sure enough there was the endorsement at the end.
