I agree that one on one time is so precious with children! God makes us family and adds to it. There is something special about each individual and the unique encounters we can have with them. Even the younger family members. I got to spend time with my nephew and his daughter this weekend. It’s so meaningful when God gives us love for them which will help with their growth.

Great job holding things down. It can be rough when they are little doing it alone, but that's how you solidify your bond with them. My husband really began to enjoy spending time with our son at those same ages and now that our son is across country in college ( 20.5 yrs old) we miss it all. It really does go by quick. I'm glad that your wife had a wonderful time too.

Eli looks just like Lexie and Aza looks like Brian, and they do favor each other. And I know you missed your family, but I am in Awe when I watch ya'll's channel because I truly see what GOD has put together, ya'll are a true team, you went to the event in Chicago, Brian went to the one in Detroit. Hey I’m glad you had this experience with your kids. It’s good for you, for all of those reasons you mentioned and more. And you did great! It’s great for mom to have that time, so so well needed.❤ If he slept for that long at night, perhaps he doesn’t need as many naps during the day. When my kids were that age I had to drop to only Two naps each day otherwise they would only sleep 4hrs
