As a musician, life's taught me one crucial lesson : to never judge artists that we dislike to the point to not consider their work as artistic material and music. One example : you may not like Lady Gaga but go listen to the song she's recorded with Mr Tony Bennett and tell us, she's not talented. All the artists you have quoted may not be your cup of tea but it doesn't mean they ain't talented nor their music is inferior. Think about that. From a baroque musician keen on listening to any music styles.
I've been listening to this for years. You may not like this type of music but you have to respect the amount of talent that is in the room. Everyone is a topnotch musician.
As much as I love Brian, I can't believe I've never seen this video!!!!! Outstanding!! To have all that talent in one space playing LIVE ... Just incredible!!! What a gift to have Brian's dad playing along with him, as well as Dave Koz Richard Elliot Euge Groove, and did I also see the Great Ray Parker, Jr? Absolutely Amazing!! Brian is an amazing performer and a musical genius. Seeing him live with David Sanborn was unbelievable!! Full of energy and smooth and funky music. He needs more exposure on radio stations!!

Eric Marienthal!! One of my personal favorites for quite some time (since Chick Corea band)... He's actually pretty popular jazz sax player all by himself. Brian had him playing a supportive, yet AWESOME, role on the bari here. No matter what he's playing, from bari to soprano, he kills it every time.

it is so great to see mr. culbertson have his father do this song with him. i grew up with brians father as my band instructor from fifth grade pm amd o copuld nopt ask for a better bad directyor so i know every bit of mr jim culbertson is now living through brian and they are realloy great folks

it is absolutely so awesome to see brian have his dad up on stage and performing with him. mr culbertson the father ws also the greatest band director that decatur illinois has ever seen and the both have a gift whether for molding young minds and teaching and sharing alent but also for gettting out and putting on great performances way to go brian and glad to see that all is going great !!
