My Dad retired at 55 years old and has spent most of his time talking about dying and just sitting around not taking part in anything. He became unapproachable and angry to the point I no longer have any relationship with him. He is now in his mid 70s and I can only learn from this and try to live a full life. I embrace life everyday and I will continue to until my end comes but I’m not going to sit waiting for it to happen. God bless Brian Dennehy,I met him once in Cork Ireland,great man.

Odd listening to this now after Brian's death, his pragmatism and thoughts concerning his passing - he predicts a few years which upsets the interviewer - he was correct, passed April 15, 2020. RIP. Great actor and hard working family man.

How many people ever get a chance to do what Dennehy did - have on tape their complete acceptance of their own imminent demise just a couple years before it happened. What a nice way to go out.

He was in so many films not always the lead role but so many such a good actor. Today we lack this kind of talent they rely on special effects, or action to carry the movie. Aging is not accidental if you want to stay healthy have to plan for it when your young and stick to a healthy lifestyle. We all know better what we should be doing what we should be eating but we push it off oh when I get older Ill quit doing that until that door closes your out of time.
It's refreshing to see stand up non bullshitter actors like Brian . Brian was right about his passing ,he was 79 here and he passed in 2020 aged 81 . R I P great actor and human .
even in law and order criminal intent he even died i saw him once they shot his character on scene so yea poor Brian its like he dies in all of his movies there was to catch a killler but he died at the end of the movie lol.
