Jayson James Guerta Yeah, but Brian and the others also sang lead on queen certain songs - Brian’s All Dead, All Dead is one of my favorite Queen songs and I like his rendition better than the outtake of Freddie singing it.
Beautiful voice, best guitar player of the world, composer, and yet a doctor in astrophysics. I think he doesn’t get recognized by his voice because the comparison is with Freddie.
“This is a Freddie song. I usually sing it for Freddie. Tonight, I’m happy to say we’re really privileged to have Freddie’s mom with us, so this is for her!”
When an artist sings, they're singing there own stories. But when the audience sings it back to the artist, it means the artists has sung the crowds' story, as well.
Bryan's voice was haunting. You'd feel the emotions of love and having missed Freddie's presence. I hope he'd realised what a wonderful voice he has. It brings shiver down my spine. And I never get tired of listening to this masterpiece. Long live the QUEEN❤❤❤
Songs like this one make life worth living. There are no words that can describe how beautiful it's written and how beautifully Brian sang it. It's so hard to believe that despite all the sins and mistakes humanity bears it was able to create such a jewel.
@@SabbyNGG I think Beatles and Queen are the only bands in my know where almost every member has a golden voice. Well, Freddie had more than golden voice.
I am always touched when Brian May does this song in tribute to Freddie's memory. I believe he does it at every concert. I love when he stops and listens to the audience singing along; he seems touched by their tribute to Freddie. It is a friendship that will never die for him, it seems.
What a lot of people don't realise that all the guys in Queen were extremely intelligent in other spheres and already had other occupations. For instance Brian May is an Astro Physicist. He also absolutely loves animals and wildlife in particular. His wife's Birthday is exactly the same as mine.
This is so nice I’m on 16 but I love Brian May his voice is so perfect for this song , honestly so amazing . Wish I could of been alive when the whole band was there 💙
The tears are running down my cheeks as I watch Brian sing this, and of course that amazing sound from the audience. Freddie would be looking down in his white singlet punching the air yelling that was "Bloody Beautiful"
Just as beautiful as Freddy- with so much love and passion in his voice for Freddy and Freddy’s mom who was present for this heartbreaking and wonderful rendition of one of the most passionate Queen songs. I just can’t get enough of it!🥲😘♥️

One of the most emotional songs I've ever heard.when an audience joins in it just takes the song to another level. R.i.p Freddie we'll never forget you 😥
@@heinzpichler This song is quite emotional, as it reminds me of a girl I know who I used to have a crush on, who gave me narcissistic abuse. So yeah, I relate to this song strongly and emotionally
In every concert where he sang this, there's always an empty stool. People coping with grief in colourful ways, and I do think it's beautiful, what he do. My sister and I have a different way to cope with our grief. She, like Deacy, decided to stop altogether cause she can't handle anything related to dad's projects. Me, like Bri and Rog, I get anxious when I'm not continuing what I always do for my dad... And I think that's okay too. I'll always love you Freddie, like dad once too 😊
Actually, Freddie never confirmed that this song was written for Mary. He said that he "simply made up" the song and that it doesn't connect with real life.
@Justsaying something In 1975, in the year the song was recorded and released, Freddie was cheating on Mary with David Minns. And also if the song was about her, wouldn't he tell her (like he told David that 'You take my breath away' was for him) because I'm sure Mary would say it in an interview, but she didn't. And lastly the lyrics don't make any sense unless they were written from Mary's perspective (since Mary didn't hurt Freddie).
@Justsaying something The only thing I don't like is that people are quoting Freddie with stuff they heard and saw in the movie (which was innacurite in almost everything). And that they take it as a fact, when in reality this whole "LOML is for Mary" is a rumor spread by Jim Beach (of course *after* Freddie's death).
Freddie Mercury was a incredibly sweet person. Beyond talented. He is a standard. He was sent to this world to do something unbelievable for all of us and his songs, like Love of my Life, will still be heard and sung 10,000 years from now!
A rockstar, guitarist, astrophysic, realeased books, wrote some of the greatest hits ever, founded the greatest band ever, built his own guitar as a teenager, is in the rock and roll hall of fame, has travelled the world, is one of the most loved humans ever, has performed in front of millions, was a part of the masterpiece Bohemian Rhapsody, has got 100 000 people to play his music with him, has a movie after a project he has been a part of. Brian Harold May has definitely done the most out of his life. Probably the man who has experienced the most ever!
that is really sad, the way a man just needs a guitar and his voice to catch everyone’s attention, a woman would never, it’s honestly sad how a woman has to do this big shows for people to look at them, is sad how talent comes in second place because of people demands
@@milkagonzalez6430 I think you are right, but remember that we have angels like Tori Amos that sings alone with a piano. So you are right, but luckily there are some exceptions. ;)
@@IlPandax sure, i’m not saying, singing and just being with an instrument is bad, I like when artists do that, i’m just saying most of the times, not always, it is like that

Something magical happens with this song, you just can't stop listening to it until the end and it never bores you despite having listened to it hundreds of times...Queen's magic
This made me cry..stunning with the crowd singing with Brian...Freddie's Mum must have been so very touched by the total love for her darling boy... God bless her..and Freddie 💖💖💖

What a beautiful tribute to Freddie, to Queen, to Freddie's Mum, to all the fans....Thank you Brian. You are a legend. You are all legends! All your fans are legends!
This is Freddie's song by mistake.Since I heard how you sing this song I never listened Freddie's "Love of my life" again. This performance is beyond the universe. You're truly amazing😍💝

Freddie, there will always be a chair on stage for you. Thanks for many great moments!
Every time i watch this video,i have a need to go through the comments and just read them and smile. They kind of comfort me after barely holding my tears in. It's amazing how some songs just have that much of an impact on people, and how it connects people that don't know each other, and that's the whole point of music. These guys knew exactly what they were doing, and just imagine how many new and amazing songs we would have if Freddie was still alive, it tears me apart when i think that way..
A year after your comment, 13 years since this video was posted, almost 20 years since Freddie was taken away and over 40 years since I bought their first album, and the music lives on. He would be more pleased about that than becoming the legend that he predicted. He was a "one-off", but a most glorious "one-off".
Love of my life, you've hurt me, You've broken my heart and now you leave me. Love of my life can't you see, Bring it back, bring it back, Don't take it away from me because you don't know what it means to me. Love of my life, don't leave me, [Album version:] You've taken my love, you now desert me, [Live version:] You've stolen my love, you now desert me, Love of my life, can't you see? Bring it back, bring it back, Don't take it away from me because you don't know what it means to me. You will remember When this is blown over And everything's all by the way When I grow older I will be there at your side to remind you how I still love you, I still love you.
Do you think we need the lyrics anymore? XD but literally look at us, this song and many others survived kinda some generations and so many still love it. This is what makes queen queen...
The venue was small in Atlanta, On a side road. But we cried and the band stopped as we sang. You could hear a pin drop, until Brian came out out and said Freddy would kill me if I didn't play this....The theatre was quiet, Brian played 3 licks of Tie Your Mother Down... I promise it took another 3 seconds ( complete silence) to pick our jaws off the ground, catch breaths and and SCREAM!!!!!
This was the Queen with Paul Rodgers "Return of the Champions" tour from 2005....grab a copy of the dvd, a truly amazing show.I was lucky enough to see it in Belfast and Dublin, it was amazing watching these legends on stage.Paul,Brian and Roger shared the vocals throughout the show. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ORHTySNMSqU.html
Sitting here with tears running down my face. Freely. It's only 8am, but that doesn't matter because I've been awake in pain all night so time means little, and naturally my walls of reserve are knocked down. Then this happened. This. My heart swelled and swelled until everything bloomed and burst with emotion. I'm playing it over and over. It's love. Not the only manifestation of shared love in our world, but right here and now, it's mine.
2:10 “You will remember, when this is blown over, and everything’s all by the way” That part is one of the most beatiful melodies I’ve ever heard. This song is a masterpiece.

You gotta love how Brian is one of the best singers out there and actually never was a singer in his own right because there was Freddie with him in the band...

it feels like tears are pouring out, not only because the original singer is dead but also this is my favorite song that I remember when I was a teenager 25 years ago
I bet Freddie came down from heaven and sat on that chair and just sang the lyrics with all his fans and remembered how many people loved and still love him today ❤️
It's so beautiful how Brian May sings this song. I like it even more than the original version. Brian May is not only one of the best guitar players ever, he's also a great singer and astrophysicist. Hats off!
When a singer is onstage and the whole audience begins to sing the song with him and each one in the crowd begins to own that song as part of his life's journey ... Then they all go home feeling better after the concert. Because the audience did not just go to the concert to just watch in awe as a superstar sing their favorite song. They really become the concert themselves. Then whoever wrote the song melody and lyrics were successful in sharing their work.
@@brianmay0000 May God bless you too in these covid pandemic times. I handled young rock band music talents for recording in 1980s the first was a group of three Filipino British High School Students called The Gelboys plus a cousin & a friend. They wear Gel (pomade)in their hair & their Father exported silica gel to a business partner in London who was granted knighthood by the Queen of England. When l wanted to export the boys' music to London I asked their Father to connect me to his business partner in London. Then l asked this businessman's help to get to Bob Geldof (who assembled the famous European music artists for a charity concert for Africa ). It turned out Bob Geldof was Knighted by the Queen of England too. So l sent the Gelboys music CD to Bob Geldof thru this British Businessman. Bob Geldof reply then : The Gelboys music is from the 50s, the European Music Trend is New Wave so it may be hard to push. After about some 20 years after Joey Concepcion the bass guitarist died of Heart Disease & then last 2020 the lead singer & the lead guitarist Randy Concepcion succumbed to Covid 19🙏 May their souls Rest in Peace. As Time travels younger generations seem to pass away earlier. I am 70 now. I attribute my interest in music & longer life to becoming a yoga meditation teacher of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Guru of the Beatles, whom l met in India for 4 months in a Vedic Conference. He died at age of 92. I became a music composer and won awards in my younger years aside from helping discover many youth music talents into music recording & shows in the Philippines. My bucket list now is to write an original youth musicale film in the tradition of West Side Story, Phantom of the Opera, etc. Thank you Brian May ! Kindly search You Tube for the Gelboys Music.
This just brought tears to my eyes. This world is so much more shit with Freddie having left us. But Brian is such a great yet humble guitar player and singer. God, after having watched the new movie I feel like I want to go back in time and somehow meet Freddie. Sigh!
I saw a interview with Brian may after freddy passed he told the band that he was HIV positive and he never wanted to talk about it again it was so unexpected when he put out the statement that he had AIDS and the next day he passed away but queen and freddy left us a gift of there beautiful music and originality and they will live on forever

What a beautiful song. And when you read the lyrics, you can feel the tears welling up in your eyes. Everyone is right that all of the guys in Queen had lovely voices. It was only when Freddie left us, that we got to hear them individually. I just love Brian singing this as a tribute to Freddie. Wonderful guys all of them.
