Did anyone else notice the echo in the main room? The nouse level in there is going to be unbearable with a couple of kids of a reasonably small group of adult friends. The big downside to a large open space is that when forced to stay indoors in things like a hurricane, there is nowhere to get away from one another. It also means that no matter what is going on in the kitchen, it nust be kept clean and tidy. Whrn making a large dinner, that is not always possible. When baking a large number of things, especially gingerbread houses, the mess can be as impressive as the finished baked goods.

I mean really?? you spent more time I am talking to them on your tablet and showing us how you built it. No one cares how much. briefly just say or show those things and get on with it because we want to see the inside and what you did and what they wanted in their house!
