I can’t believe Robert Garcia, who is so knowledgeable of fighters and their health. This message is directly to him. You see your fighter he was finished. You could’ve threw in the towel before the last knockout save him for another day and another fight. Don’t be so unprotective of your fighters.
I cannot believe they actually let that man come out for round 10 with a badly broken nose and what looked to be an immense amount of damage to the head. Absolute negligence on the part of the corner.
Yes, I 1000% degree with you. The guy wasn’t even in the fight when he was hurt his corner should’ve thought about letting them come out. Makes no sense. Robert should be ashamed of himself. He always criticizes other trainers for not stopping it when they should’ve.
Great post.. The damage a compromised fighters sustain can affect their timing, ability to take a shot and ability to recover just enough to change their trajectory and/or longevity. It always pisses me off when I see a trainer not protect their fighter from themselves...a fighter will always try to keep fighting if at all able.. Peace
Beast at 23?😂 a beast at 23 years old was Lopez defeating p4p 1 LOMA. Beast at 23 years old is CANELO selling arenas 20-40k butts and seats taking on p4p 1 Mayweather that’s BEAST AT 23
@@oscar9mx512 what do either of them have to do with Brian? Just because those two are more accomplished than Brian doesn't mean you have to take away from this awesome performance. Those guys are beasts sure but so is Brian... seems like you are salty that Santillan won.
@@oscar9mx512you consider any of them to be BEAST compared to Adrien Broner who was already a 3 Division champion by the age of 23?? Literally 3x the accomplishments
I didn't base my statement off of that fight. He's a Solid Dog in the ring who punches with very bad intentions. I thought Brian Norman was being asked the questions not Figueroa.
@@karlinwilliamson9329 he got great jab I don't know what y'all talking about watch the perez fight he only had jab that fight his right hand was broken
These two men are absolutely two of the toughest boxers in the game, Santillan was fight dirty dirty, but nothing can take away how great of a fighter he is, We Georgia here so we was rooting for Norman, man he is tough as they come, excellent boxing, I know it’s been up hill climb for him with the boxing game, but he got his chance and did it, To bad he did that motion to his opponent when he was down, I know the emotions he was feeling in the arena where high, but it will serve him well to be professional and humble as he continues to do great! Stay Humble NormanJr. Take Georgia to the Top! Congratulations... you worked hard! He ah Beast!
Господи помилуй! Джованни хочет драться, много пропускает, хотя и прячется за рукавицами! Зря, он это делает! Брайан уверен, лучше видит и контролирует дистанцию! Интересное противостояние! Спасибо!
Brian Norman is a certified beast going to be watching all his upcoming fights looks like a vintage ike quartey with them quick counters and explosive dynamite in his fists 🥊🔥
Boots needs to fight him now for he fuck around and get even better. I really don’t see no 147s beatin him bro I’ll put the bag up on him vs Spence right now Yung bull whoopin $hit , on mamas 😂
@@thomashankins1418 nah you’re buggin’. Getting ahead of yourself. BN takes too much punishment. He gotta work on that defense. Errol will beat him badly. Definitely NOT on Crawford level. I heard BOOTS already whooped on him in sparring. BN was struggling with BOOTS style
Very smart foght from Notman. He started neutralizing the pushing to the ropes used in Mexican style from round 7 or 6 onward. It was over when the fight was commanded by Norman to stay in the middle of the ring.
Norman was doing damage with that same uppercut in the earlier rounds but went away from it for a few rounds allowing Gio to get some momentum but once he went back to the game plan he took control and it was all she wrote..
What kind of so called top class trainer allows his own boxer to take damage UPON damage like this? Regardless the will and fight in Santi.. as his trainer you should have the will to know you got to override that, if nothing else for the safety of the man. Poor do in Santi's corner.. Great show otherwise from both men
Norman was doing great in the earlier rounds picking his shots from the outside and avoiding the ropes. Then after the 4th round he looked sloppy. Smothering his offense, hugging/leaning on Santillan, not using his legs. He’s got a lot of room for growth, but as of now he needs to avoid guys like Ennis, and Stanionis. Boots would stop him and Stanionis would bully him around the ring.
It's a good fight and I'm not going to be one of those people that say oh yeah boots washes this guy or everyone in the division. Nah man give these guys credit for challenging themselves against the best which ofc I think boots is #1 at 147 since Crawford moved up. But these fights still have to happen it's boxing anything can happen. You could think boots or any of your favorite fighters are Superman but anything can happen inside the boxing ring on any given day.
We the Fans demand boots vs Norman Jr right now in ATL! dat shit would be sold out! Dey both Yung Bulls and Dey both Problems , boxing better not disappoint the fans !
@@HNiCDuke Cowdy Crowley - Boots been off for a while. Inactivity robs from the very best of them, that's why the very best stay busy. Im not saying CC wins, I'm saying given Boots recent inactivity the window is open for CC to look better than he otherwise might or even an upset. As for Barrios, if he wants the big check, and what fighter does not, at 147 his next big check will be Boots, so you can count on that fight.
@@EfieldHfield_377 you obviously don't Know anything about boxing nor boots. Boots lives in the gym. It's been only a year since he fought and that's due to ppl ducking him and his lawsuit against his former . Boots is the most active fighter at 47. Bud fights once a year but does that effect him? No barrios agreed to fight and backed out, it had nothing to do with money and that's out his own mouth. Boots stops everyone at 47 and July you will see.
@@HNiCDuke It never ceases to amaze me how folks on RU-vid claim to know, what you know. No point in having an intelligent boxing conversation with you as you already know it all. Best to you.
Miss Patricia, I'm so sorry not so much that your nephew Gio Lost, but for his well-being pertaining to the punishment that he took, for his future health. ... It was a great fight and very hard to watch in person however the way he reacted to his win was disrespectful and disgusting. Have some class and self respect
I’ll bet you didn’t say that when Rayo Valenzuela did the exact same thing to Colbert. Norman was getting booed as usual when a Black American fighter fights a Mexican so he stunted on y’all
@@malcolmxbox lmao that was the crowd! Gio never disrespected him and just because someone else did it doesn’t make it ok! Clearly your on the same level of class
@@mimihermez1 they were talking crap to each other in the fight, you clearly didn’t watch the post fight interview. And they both showed respect to each other after it was over. Only you and other emotional fans are making that an excuse for why you didn’t like Norman
@@malcolmxbox you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about! I never said I don’t like Norman! He fought well and deserved the win. I’m talking about his actions afterwards. Like the humping and disrespect. Get a grip. This has nothing to do with emotions
No ringmanship no class disgrace. This is what they finna put in front of Boots? 😆😅 yea undisputed really quick. All that posing, dancing over a down fighter shows exactly what kind of low glass fighter he and his team is, this will be short lived
Good performance by Norman, but he made himself look like an uneducated pos thug for his unprofessional celebration. I see that a lot these days with this new generation of garbage boxers. There's nothing professional about most of the boxers from today.
The whole crowd was against him and were calling him slurs when the Mexican was losing💀 he was also getting hit with illegal punches behind the head. Crazy you failed to mention that🤣
@@lionelwashington8419 I'm not a fan of either d*mbazz! I'm just pointing out the obvious, that boxers these days are disrespectful tr@sh. Nothing professional about these bums from today. I've been watching boxing for over thirty years and have never heard so many fighters talk sh*t about their previous opponents in press conferences that they hold for their next opponents.
