Hey guys! Here is your chance to win a brand new Cannonball alto saxophone case and official Cannonball t-shirt! To enter the giveaway all you need to do is post a new video on RU-vid of yourself playing the saxophone. Play anything you want and somewhere in the video title put "#BriansThingContest". The deadline date to post your video is Jan 15th 2016 at 11pm Pacific Standard Time. All submissions must be posted on RU-vid between today and the deadline date. I will announce and notify the randomly selected winner the next day on Jan 16th! One video per person will be entered into the contest. Good luck and I can't wait to watch your videos. So in 6th grade I'm now in fifth, I started playing the alto, which you have and currently play right now. I have moved on to Bari Sax and really love the low and deep sound of the instrument. You inspired me to play hello by Adele after watching your videos 🙂. I was wondering if you could try on playing the Bari. If you could that would be great and you are probably my favorite sax player on RU-vid, your videos and are great and I look forward to seeing the videos you post in the future🙂.

+BriansThing I'm glad to hear that )) Hmm.. As I'm more a classical saxophonist , I've always had problems with writing down music notes for melodies.. I mean, I hear the main melody but when I should play it on sax I just can't :( And also improvisations... Where to start from? Writing each note? Or how do you play them?:D Maybe my questions are super stupid but I want to know at least anything more about "not classical" playing, too..)) Thank you for what you do! You're amazing musician :)
