This is a flat weave using the brick stitch beading technique. These earrings can be made in two ways - using the peyote stitch beading technique and the brick stitch technique. It seemed easier to me to do it with brick stitch weaving. To get earrings like this (if you are a beginner), do it carefully along with the video. ! Look at the beginning of each row where the needle enters, since the needle alternately in one row enters immediately after the first bead, under the thread between the first and second bead of the previous row, in the next row the needle enters between the second and third bead of the previous row. This is done in order to get an even rectangular product.
For such earrings, in general, when working with brick stitch weaving, it is better to take cylindrical beads. (I have round beads and I’m not at all happy with how they look in the finished product. So if you have a choice, then choose Delica beads)
Materials required:
beads (size 11)
bead thread (polyester thin strong thread with a diameter of 0.10-0.12 mm)
beading needle
ear hooks
pliers
scissors
Thank you!
Happy beading!
