If water penetrated the bottom brick below dpc into the cavity and on to the rebate due to high ground level , could that water find its way up through the concrete and into the timber framing ? Great video

Thank you! In this detail there would be a massive thermal bridge via de foundation. I wonder how the detail would be with additional exterior insulation and some insulation of the floor. Would you consider doing a video about this?

When working as an architect/Drafting building plans, do you model to this level for details? I just paste the standard details from NZBC/ ASNZ standards/ COP and call it a day.
Yeah I keep to what's required for the project, which is usually just standard details like yourself. This is more for illustrative purposes to go through the construction.
