A collection of old photos from in and around Bricket Wood, mixed with their current view - or as close as I could get to it on Google Streets. I've made similar videos for St Albans and a few other places, and I thought it would be good to do one for Bricket Wood.

Nice pics! Malaysian here. About 30 years ago I joined HSBC and went to Bricket Wood to attend their management trainee programme. Was there for about 7 weeks. 1996 was a great year.

I was born in MPL in 1960, lived there for 28 years, lovely memories. My grandmother on my mother’s side, used to go to Lady Yule’s fair when she was young. Came down from London on the train. My grandfather founded the Bricket Wood club.

Fascinating Gary, many thanks for posting this video. I have always loved seeing "then and now" photos of places that hold fond memories. I will have to check out your other ones. :)
