Additional comment (sorry): I really enjoyed the recaps (from before I discovered you -- still working my way through your library of videos). Your thinking, planning, integrating some of your fav themes (Castle, Belvile, Fabuland) and initial positioning of pieces for layout. I enjoy seeing the creative process.

Yes, it was fun to order parts with no real intention! Usually I’m completing sets but I got to just order whatever I wanted so that was new for me lol

Wow! Now THAT is what Lego is all about! I love how the old sets had the most basic colors: red, blue, yellow, green. You really honored that while coming up with a really, really cool build that's not only fun and cool but really beautiful. Great job!!!

I like your MOC a lot! The colours pop and the design radiates fun, happiness and playfulness. There are many little surprises to discover and (last, but not least) it’s really pretty to look at. It reminds me of something out of The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland or even Super Mario World. 😅

I agree with you. With the incredible palette of available colo(u)rs, sticking to the OG ones is a feat. Such creations make FabScaBel elements never get old. If only TLC (or any other legit brand, actually) could bring ' back!

Such a beautiful, playful, and energetic MOC. It's like you tried for a proper celebration of classic Lego, and you absolutely nailed it. It immediately brought to mind the fun energy of the Disneyland "It's A Small World" exterior (only much more colorful). Great job!

Probably thanks to Animal Crossing sets and their fabuland-esque vibe. Keep the faith, if it does not come from TLC itself, the reignited flame will keep on burning and more marvels will be coming. MOC creators unite!

It turned out great! All the leafy/flower vines tie it all together so nicely. MOCing is so much about finding your own expression and then just going for it. Hope to see more stuff like this in the future :)

Definitely. So do I, now. Imagine: it is located on a hillside covered with a forest. Below flows a small river you cross on a pebbled arched stone bridge and you walk to the nearby village on a small dirt path. Yes, I could totally live there too.

Really great MOC, I like seeing the fantasy type MOCs. Really fun use of all the vintage parts From Fabuland and others. Getting nominated and even an award from a show like this would be awesome, but the tokens feel so much more personnel to me. You know somebody took the time to make the token and then stop and enjoy the MOC. My wife and I love leaving tokens at the MOCs when we go. Great job!

The use of 'fan-flowers' and of just one cypress is an A+. It may be a shock to some, but I truly love the flowered vines you added throughout your MOC, they prevent if from being dull on otherwise empty spots. And the diagonal panels on the rear of the building is a very clever idea. My final rating: I want it/10.
