kalitheamare me!!! 😭😭😭 it has been devastating. Saved for 2 years to go abroad with our family . Not only a wedding but a last vacation with our parents (they’re getting old!) We’ve barely had any refunds or exchanges and it’s not just venue, it’s florists, DJ, photographer, videographer, etc! Our wedding day came and went and we sat in our kitchen, said our vows and cooked the meal we should have been having that day! It was so bittersweet and I cannot wait to be able to do it properly. Here’s to hoping my dad will still be physically fit enough to go 😭😭😭😭
I hate to nag people about having children but..... He's the kind of person I HOPE is raising children!! He would be an incredible father and his children would probably be great humans. Which we need more of.
She has some of the nicest skin I have ever seen on anyone. That gorgeous, dark, caramel tone contrasted against that crisp, silky white exposing her lovely collarbone and shoulders was just lush.
its amazing how different people are in different countries here in India being dark and having that skin color is somthing that is not considered pretty and being white is alaways said to be pretty. i being the same colour as the bride have heard so many comments on it. But it feels so good to hear this tone bieng appreciated from people.🥰🥰

The love of my life had darker skin, I thought he was the most beautiful person I had ever seen. Flaws show up do easily on white white skin. Either way, true beauty comes from within! Isn't that the American format: making women look bitchy, unsupportive and entitled? Maybe the British public isn't as fond of showing women in that negative light (although other shows might suggest otherwise ...).
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Lancashire is the best SYTTD. The entourages and hosts all focus on bringing the best out of the brides and never bash them. It's the sweetest. And this simple gown is just so stunning on her!
The Lancashire version of say yes to the dress is the only one that actually gets me emotional. It's not staged like all the other say yes to the dress locations and all the other staff. Gok is a godsend and I wish I had him as a personal stylist!

Everytime I see it's SYTTD Lancashire I immediately click on it knowing I won't be stressed about annoying entourage, jealous mothers/sisters/future MILs, and over the budget ugly dresses. Just auntie Gok being a legend and nice people and nice dresses
the last 20 videos I've watched, every sister was AWFUL, unsupportive, and RUDE..not only is everyone so amazing, but her sister is the sweetest and has nothing but the most beautiful and supportive stuff to say about her sister. she said she is the most beautifulest bride 😭😭 This made me so so happy! She looks absolutely stunning ❤️❤️
Gok is the type of content we need during this specific period of time. No drama, no over exaggeration. Just pure positivity. We are dealing with more than enough drama already.
Thats kinda wrong. She is beautiful and can be happy widout loosing weight. But if she wana change it and loose the weight there shuldnt be any wrong wid that. Weight doesnt determine your hapiness. But it is healthy. Cos she did gain it aftr her moms death so its all that stress and eating issues.
I hear, but losing weight successfully LONG TERM requires sustainable changes (preferably small ones) to ones diet, attitude and possibly activity levels and trying to lose weight for a specific event (like a wedding) generally can be stressful and backfire, as opposed to making aforementioned changes for one’s health for life.
Goosebumps. I've binged watched these episodes but this one really got to me. The bride is stunning. Her sister is so loving and supportive. Their Mother would be so proud to see these beautiful daughters of hers and their kindness towards each other at such a special time. Well done.

@@kittycurious6444 I think all of the hosts are nice. The only one i have an issue with is David Emanuel, but that's only because of budgets and dress choices, not that hes not nice. Its normally the entourage that are bad in the US ones.
I love how Gok treats every bride like a goddamn QUEEN! He really cares about them. I always have to think about the one episode where a bride had a low budget and she fell in love with a beautiful dress but was sad about not getting to wear it, because it was too expensive. Then Gok talked with the owner of the shop and managed to lower the price a bit so it fitted in the bride's budget😍 This is so lovely of Gok❤️
Thank you, that is all I can say. Thank you, for showing such class and support to the bride. Each lady that was there with the bride is a lesson to those who are SUPPOSED to be there FOR the bride. And sis, the classy way you pointed out what you knew would be the best choice of dress style WITHOUT shaming or destroying the brides' feelings is an example of how everyone should support the bride. Ladies this was the best I have ever seen in saying Yes to the dress. To the bride, you are blessed, to have surrounding you people that have YOUR best interest at heart. I love how gok always yells "Yes!" after the bride says yes to the dress as if he didn't know by her face and words that it is her dress. He is adorable.
I'm so chuffed that the British media have seemed to re-discover the wonderful Gok. He's a beautiful, compassionate, talented man, who deserves every single joy and blessing. I just love him. As for the dress, I thought this lovely bride looked gorgeous in the dress she chose, but I thought she looked incredible in the first one. Like a Queen 👑.

This is why I love this version of SYTTD so much. No unnecessary drama, just pure emotions. And the way Gok is adjusting the dress gives really the feeling how it will look like at the end (and so more confidence for the brides). No ugly clips, just invisble pins at the right places. You can see that he is knowing how a dress is built up. And a big bonus for nor overstreching the budget (on the contrary, usually he gets the most beautiful dresses below budget)

She looks great but you can tell from her features that if she looses weight she will be beautiful too. I think actually the weight of a person has little to do with their beauty. It's all in the facial features. If you have beautiful features, no matter how much you weight, you will look beautiful.

More than a year later, i'm still loving SYTTD LANCASHIRE!, it's so wonderful to watch how Gok manages to be really and truly supportive, his level of empathy is like fresh air every time, always deeply focusing on the bride beyond what we see in the outside. Wow, after seeing all those episodes, this one definitely got me. I cried with her, the dress is absolutely stunning, classy and fits her perfectly. She deserves it and Gok is the best.

That last dress just might be one of my favorites that I've ever seen on SYTTD! I like lace fit and flares but I feel like that's all I ever seem to see on these shows, so it's nice to see such a clean, sleek fabric
Can I say that I want to get my dress in Lancashire with Gok... I leave all the way in the U.S.. I would pay that money for the experience with him. He is an absolutely amazing person.
