The A line dress was stunning - so flattering. I don't understand when people go to a Bridal salon like that, but they won't try on all styles and silhouettes. They've gone for professional help but then don't accept it.

She has an apple shaped figure, which is one of the hardest silhouettes fit. Those mermaid gowns suit women who have an hour-glass figure. The look on faces of her entourage should have told her everything she needed to know, but she was determined not to look in their direction. Oh, well, if she wants to look awful on her wedding day that's her choice.

The waist line is way too low.

I was a size 2 when I got married and column dresses didn’t look good in my bc my waist and hips are pretty straight and I full a full bust so I look weird in it. I end up buying a ball gown with a higher waist and full gown with a sweetheart top. It snatched my waist by a lot . It isn’t weight , it your shape that makes you look better in certain dresses.

Why didn't the consultant bring an A-line with organza?

It sucks when what you really want just isnt the shape for you. Ive definitely gone through those moments and its tough to give up the vision.

I have watched this show a million times (well, you know what I mean) The biggest problem I have observed the whole time is a bride not wanting to accept what works for her and what doesn't. This show featured a beautiful bride who either didn't look at the mirrors or I don't know what, but chose a dress that was not flattering for her. Sometimes people get so caught up in the latest styles, that they can't see what is flattering for them and what is not. But, as I always say, to each their own.

That A line was stunning on her! Add some more bling, done!

OMG! I have to agree with whoever it was that used the word hideous! I can't even imagine a less flattering silhouette on her!

Oh goodness are her eyes working? That dress she loves looks terrible on her. All you see is belly. EVERYONE tried to politely tell her that the dress wasn't working but she just didn't listen. I really hope she picked a nicer dress in the end 😅

Yeah , i agree with the comments for once! I wish she would have looked at the other cuts, they were beautiful on her! But tunnel vision with the mermaid cut. Either way I hope she and her fiance are still married and happy!

The dress she likes makes her look heavier.

Her "best men" seem to be decent human beings - in stark contrast to some of the monster entourages we've seen.

That last one was perfect for her shape.

That dress is beautiful. The details were so nice and I understand why she loved it for those reasons, but that shape was just all wrong. She needed to go ballgown. The A-line was better, but a full ballgown would have been better, I think. Lifting the bodice seam 2" wouldn't have helped much. I'd love to see what she actually wore on the day.

Maybe when the waist is brought up the dress will look better on her. I saw a photo of her in the gown at her wedding but she's laying on a piano so it's hard to tell what the dress looks like but the top of it does look like the gown she loved so she probably did get that 2nd dress & had it altered.

For her body type I would think an empire would be the best. She is confused about the reality of her silhouette

I hope she went home, thought it over and decided to keep looking. She seems like a sweet person but that dress she liked was not flattering to her body type. Her entourage knew it and probably were relieved to not have to pretend that they liked it over the much more flattering A-line gown. She was so reluctant to even try on different silhouettes so I think she just wanted to pick something-and go have that martini😁

The consultant was too kind to tell her she looked frumpy in the style she thinks looks great. With an apple shape body, she's trying to rock a dress for a woman with curves and a small waist.

She chose a dress that would look good on someone weighing around 130lbs not someone as hefty as herself 😮

That fit and flare was ugly and looked terrible on her, the a-line was much nicer and more flattering I hope she ends up trying on more dresses, if it was “the one” she wouldn’t have needed to think about it.
