Well that incident in the bathroom that just happened was pretty much all a result of him trying to force and twist her arms to do sometimes that she really didn't want to do, even tho I know that it was to be both their own house but still, you should never force or twist no one's arm to do nothing that they don't or might not want to do, and this is what happens when you do it to, if she didn't want to, then she didn't want to, besides, her house and space too, her loss things would become and be very uncomfortable, inconvenient, and very difficult for herself, its her own personal decision, its like, oh well, whatever, its your choice dear, like just allow her her own space and just leave her alone, like just let her be.

He was forced to do all that and he didn't throw any hammers! He did everything she wanted, all he wanted was to have a nice bathroom for all the guests in his home and she had a fit. One of my favorite weddings was in a redwood grove with the meal being all different kinds of salads and multiple cake/dessert options, fun and perfect!

Jaws dropped he went through with the wedding. I'm sure many knew of her actions and weren't impressed. She donated to the shelter so she wouldn't have to spend so much on favors......She ended spending more on her guests than she intended. 🙄. The gift was for show and not from the heart.

That's perfectly fine. That's what you value the most. Some value having a wedding and celebrating their cultures together with their family and some value spending time with their partner on their honeymoon.

That girl needs to focus on having a happy life and forget about material crap. People want good food and plenty of good booze. Guests could care less about flowers, chair covers, etc.

According to Cristina’s Facebook (Oct 2021) she’s using her maiden name and in a relationship with a new guy. So I guess this marriage didn’t last - despite the $60k+ that they spent on it. I honestly am not surprised based on all the tantrums she threw when she didn’t get her way.

This was also on the mid noughties, so it's even more the norm now. Thng is people are getting married when they are older, and quite possibly earning more than their parents, who may be winding down or even retired. Plus it's now not unusual for older people to take out a mortgage. Weddings are also more expensive so, while your parents may have been able to for out 10k in 1980- that won't even cover catering for a wedding today

But if you book a function venue then it's expected you provide catering and it's considered rude not to, especially in the eyes of the older family members and guests. But in return I think it's becoming more common to have cocktail style catering and buffets to save money

tio be fair, she had 250-300 people, which creates a huge food and drink cost. They could have picked a cheaper venue or had less people (though she is Italian so I doubt a small wedding is on the cards for her family). But the money she spent on decor and extra food was ridiculous. For example, a rose at every place setting - so at least 250- is a totally silly expense.

I read up on one of the wedding planners for this show and she said there really are some crazies who do the show.

Agreed. I get you want to be a good host. I hate weddings where there aren't enough chairs or you they've really skimped on catering or they boot you our early because they didn't want to rent the venue for a normal amount of time. But, there is a difference between being a good host and putting on a show.
