The Bride of Istambul is like magic! It certainly put a spell on me! It is the best! Horray for Turkish TV and film!!!! The music alone is captivating...I find myself humming tunes from series all day.

I have someone who loves me like garip love esma..this is called undying love..he was in love with me since 2012 but I have no idea,,i thought it was just a Teenage feeling.. he never stopped fighting,he always chose me, there's no place for other girls in his heart,,,he kept searching for me ,so after 12 years he found me again...❤❤I was in shocked when he confessed his love for me cuz I never know that he loves me this much but now he is my everything..I'll keep this comment here to encourage someone who needs true love..be patience you will find someone who truly loves you..😊 ,don't be in hurry cuz you'll get hurt...Trust the perfect timing of God 💝

I don't know which scene to pick as the best bc there were so many. The joy the Boran's felt as they drove back to their home was contagious. The funny scene between figret and Furuk outside the mansion. The younger brother writing in the garden, the girls on their perspective bedrooms relishing the feel of home sweet home. The scene with Garip welcoming them home and buying all the furniture back in addition to Esma being so touched to the scene of them young. The staff frolicking with joy as they cleaned. Oh my gosh to Gunes and Iflet's touching scene. This would been a good time to end the series but the drama must continue another 89 episodes-lol

Esma's got a man who is pure gold and faithful children. She shouldn't need any more than that because this series has shown us time and again that "home is where the heart is." Garib made his living in the mansion graceful and with authority by buying all the belonging of the mansion so he is like part owner not that guy who was the son of the gardner and fell in love with the princess. But a lawyer who owned what was in the mansion. Bravo Garib that is the way you do it.

Deze episode is de mooiste,de jongens hebben nog moeite mee om Garip te accepteren. En met de lieftallige Surayya lukt het zeker wel. Het hele film is inhoudelijk mooi en van alle Turkse films die ik tot nog toe heb gezien is bride of istanbul de mooiste.

Saying the boys are rich and spoilt, to a certain extent they are, but the way they act and react is normal in their culture. You would find the same in the poor families too. I have many times thought about writing something similar. People judge according to their own traditions and upbringing, that’s normal because we all think our way works, and it does for us. However I totally agree with you, we should be more accepting of other cultures and not judge to our own standards. Thank You for your post.

True love is everlasting! If only we could all have a Garip. Life is a tortuous journey of which we have no control . Destiny, Divine Providence, whatever. Enjoyed this true story. Excellent writing, wonderful acting. Most difficult role is Adem’s. He was very good. Much thanks for the English translations. I imagine I am watching the last episode hence my comments.

Even in this melodramatic series, Faruk & Sureyya's marriage is fraught with stress, tension, anger, lies, unnecessary dramas, perceived unfaithfulness, orher love interests, short seperation & whole lot of issues to deal with. Am surprised they are still together until end of this series.

What a beautiful episode!❤ As the family returned home, I was crying tears of joy for them!! Funny how a story can so attach itself to your heart and cause you to deeply feel the emotions that the story characters feel. Osman writing those words he set down in a journal were also incredibly moving. Love this series so much. ❤

Agreed. Garip is constant in his love for Esma. Both in words & actions. Faruk sometimes comes out superficial & not sincere in his love for Sureyya like forgetting their anniversaries & other important dates, prioritizing his son over his wife & covering up his wrongdoings & guilt with romantic gestures is so phoney. His actions contradict his words too many times. Too bad Sureyya still fall for his charm.

I hope both Adem and Ülfet learned a good lesson from this…..love conquers all and forgiveness is everything. All the money could never compare to being genuinely happy. So Garip even though he couldn’t do anything before and now suddenly he bought everything in the mansion right? Everything ? , even the carpets, curtains , paintings and the lamps? . Even the kitchen all the jars are magically appeared. The glass house all the plants are back to their place did Garip bought all the plants as well? I mean how believable is that? There so many holes in the series, they all driving the same car. They couldn’t afford to give different cars to the characters?
