the first time i got metamorphosis i remember it kind of gave me the chills. this game has a soul. i still have it my collection, a timeless classic that never gets old..... just like my high speed and firepower. i also have apollo 13 and a jokerz but my heart belongs to those 3. you can pry them from my cold dead hands.
I love how this table has such a clear goal, i just wish it wasn't such a one shot wins all table, and the shot itself isn't that hard to make... but you play awesomely.
It actually made a good bit of sense for Pinbot to be one of the first WMS alpha-numeric based pins and for The Machine to be the last to use alphanumerics.
Well played. It's such a great feeling to have a ball held on each flipper, giving you to take your time setting up the goal shots. Also, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one to find the "Small Wheel" shot to be the hardest in the game.
I noticed the lock released both balls at the same. My game releases them individually. I also noticed after the billion shot he got both balls back up to the lock and the game only released one ball. Mine releases both balls
My favourite table of all time, simple, fun for everybody, with a really good feature. The best! Tell me if you know of any other tables that are like this! (simple, easy and really fun)
Maybe it is my phone, but I didn't hear that famous snap! The neighbors would complain about ours, but then again, a pinball machine in an apartment 😅, not ideal.
For some reson my Bride Of Pinbot head won't reset to the mouth opening at the end of the game and during gameplay it gets confused where it should be. I'm gonna update to the newest rom and see if that fixes it.
We have this machine and no one has ever figured out how to spin the big wheel. Is it just getting it into the face when the launch pad is lit or does it have to be on the 4th face when you do it?
The big wheel is only ever in play whilst on the 4th face. You get a spin of the big wheel once you're on the 4th face, and you send both balls back up the launch ramp.
IMHO there is a design flaw at the metamorphosis part, her face should do the final rotation in sync when she says "Hi there" Now all the sound effects and the excitement of what will happen are spoiled, when the rotation happens redistributably. I find it very strange that this "miss" was not discovered during development. Pinball games often have very well-thought-out gameplay with ditto effects/animations, not to mention a lot of humor.
Make the left ramp shot until she's alive. Then make it twice again for the big wheel. If you get Billionaire's club lit, shoot the center loop (the beating heart that is lit), then shoot the left ramp twice again. Losing a ball in multi ball will cause her to change back to previous forms.
