Im actually starting to feel bad for this actor. She is always casted as the "fat" girl who gets bullied. If I were her I would be motivated to lose the weight. I am not sure if she has any diseases or whatever that causes a bit of extra weight, but hard work and dedication leads to greatness.

as someone who has struggled with my weight, although its true, being made fun of and people calling you fat doesnt help at all. it just makes you fall deeper into a hole because it makes you depressed. and like i said yes it may be true but people need encouragement to help them. dont put them down.

Idk about the working hard part. When my friend tried to lose weight, he did not eat ANYTHING fatty. Especially cheese. Mainly green veggies, protein and working out a lot. Working hard involves you saying no to things you love, not stuffing your face some more.

Exactly! My comment said something similar but I 100% agree. You should love yourself when it comes to birth defects, losing an arm or leg or something else you cannot change. But being overweight is a big problem which among other things leads to heart disease. Losing weight in her specific scenario would be extremely beneficial. With that being said, the bride definitely should have gone about telling her a different way that doesn’t involve putting her down as much and generally being more supportive about the issue (think: brently g and his weight loss journey)

I heard the word "bridezilla" for the first time sometime after my wedding. I'm not sure why so many grooms fail to notice the behavior in their fiancees. Had my wife exhibited such behavior, I would have called her out on it at the very least, and called off the wedding if it continued. I would have considered it a foreshadowing of how she'd treat me when the honeymoon is over and anything stressful happens. Thankfully, my wife was the polar opposite of a bridezilla. She just rolled with whatever came along, and she had (and still has) a great group of friends who were always there for one another. They were bridesmaids at each others' weddings, their body types ran the gamut, and each wedding party in turn looked great. But more important than that, since nobody was harboring any bad feelings and everyone was in good spirits, those weddings were *fun*.

This episode really hit me hard. I have struggled with my weight for years. I go up and down throughout the years. Mainly due to depression and stress. However, I have never allowed anyone to disrespect or disregard me because of my weight. I think the actress that played Lori is absolutely beautiful. I want to see more of her ❤❤

The way Callie treats Lori and says all these things about her and to her is unacceptable but we do get to see that she’s insecure about her weight and is starving herself to feel better about herself. But Callie’s initial insults and contempt towards Lori really downplayed her personal struggle until it deteriorated to the point Callie fainted. I’m glad she is truly a kind soul blinded by trying to look according to society’s superficial standards. It has turned her bitter towards Lori because she looked the way Callie didn’t want to. But looks shouldn’t get in the way of important events, we all must love our family and friends for being there for us

Great story and I agree you shouldn’t judge people based on their size even if it is honest. Words can hurt after all and not everything has to be perfect. I liked of how Lori was a nurse cause the good thing about it is that they know what to do in an emergency and always there for you. Who wouldn’t want a doctor in the family 😊?

As far as I know, I know that it’s not good to judge people, but there is another side of the coin. If the woman won’t lose weight she might result health problems like pcod , diabetes and obesity. She could have tell her calmly that to lose weight with good diet and everything but insulting with a huge crowed is not acceptable. Also even though it is true we shouldn’t matter on the outside but health is the biggest priority and if health is lost, something is lost. Just keep that in mind.

Scientific fact: if you are chubby, it will increase your chances of getting diabetes, major heart problems, laziness, and even increase the chances of getting heart attacks. Don't lose weight because you're insecure or you're reaching someone's expectations. Lose weight because your health is on the line.
