She even refused to show that dress but I guess Kleinfeld doesn’t have any dresses that aren’t strapless. The dress was beautiful but not what she was looking for.

Just my opinion, but I totally can’t stand “mermaid” style dresses. They look incredibly uncomfortable. Too tight to dance, sit, or even walk.

The first time that I saw a bride (in person) in that style was ~25 years ago, long before I heard the term "mermaid." The bride walked with tiny mincing steps that reminded me of an all-over straightjacket! She looked SO uncomfortable.
