i had to google "steampunk wedding dress" to see what other people have done and yeah, that dress is pretty bang-on! maybe an exterior corset and a few chains or strands of pearls but otherwise brilliant. and the goggles they gave her are fantastic haha

The mum's lacing panic made me laugh in relatability! I design clothing and lacing a corset seems so intuitive and simple to me! But there are always remote clients with mothers/friends that are convinced lacing a bodice is the most difficult and foreign thing in the world and freak out! It's just a long ribbon, love! Don't let it scare you!

These women at the boutique are Earth Angels. Brides have difficulty if they're very real thin or if they are on the curvier plumper side. Wedding dress shopping is difficult for them at the very least. And their body issues are brought forward as everyone watches and looks at the bride. Bravo to the ladies and how they treat everyone as a special individual and know how compliments their Brides. The brides were beautiful and they felt good about themselves and that makes me happy for them. When you're unsure of to be given a strong footing on your wedding day is a Priceless gift. Both brides looked marvelous. Just by virtue of being so different however, the steampunk bride will draw more comments, and here is mine: I'm delighted whenever a bride chooses a coloured gown (though on every other show, her entourage has conniptions every. single. time. Wrongly, in my opinion). The colour of both gowns was fabulous, the first one being a little bit brighter. My own taste goes more to the first gown, and the bride looked stunning in both. But her wedding, her body, her taste, her choice, and I'm glad she found something that made her so happy. Bravo to Jo and Al for hitting the bullseye again!

Usually I think that dresses with color just look like prom dresses but the steampunk dress looked like a wedding dress and she looks like the queen of the steam punk wedding (If someone wants a dress with color on their wedding I don’t mind it, they just remind me of prom)
