This is a beautiful installation. I have a small tip: when the hair is parted in the center it best to curl the hair away from the face and not all in yhe same direction especially of the hair is layered. It will accentuate the face more and give some symmetry.

Thanks hun with extensions have to do first sections around the face away from the face then the rest has to go in towards the face or clients own hair sticks out all over the place. With a braided weave you can see clients own hair but with these extensions it shows to much. 🙁

@@houseofhairUK im a hairstylist in NYC. I've done these type of installs before. I kind of agree with you as far as placement and the ability to style on a client. There are certain "rules" to styling especially with extentions and placement that are more flattering. Like I said before it was just a suggestion and ultimately if the client is happy thats all that matters

@@houseofhairUK i would also like to add the fact that you curling her hair all in the same direction shouldn't take away from the direction you've curled her hair. The fringe pieces always look best away from the face especially if there's a middle part.

After a few weeks and after a workout hair would need to be washed and pressed out again. I think most clients do a 2 weekly wash anyway

Nice to see someone with hair length, type and hairline similar to mine. Looking at starting my straight natural hair journey, how long do the extensions last? Also how often do I have to go in for retightening? Have you seen a lot of clients' hair grow with this style?

Natural 4C hair: I have an important question regarding when her texture/hair pattern reverts to 4C when it gets wet or just through humidity after a shower. How do you advise one manages that? Thanks for posting

It has a texture release so would need a lot of humidity to revert back for first couple of months. After a wash just simply blow dry and press it out like normal. After a few months you will notice that it is reverting back quicker

@@ thru @ you were really rough handling/pulling down the wefts showing the parts so I guess they can withstand anything...Ik the client wanted to see how the curls looked but you combed most of them out & it looked like the wind blew through her hair, kinda messy wind look if you get what I mean. Preference I think...

She had a texture release treatments done so needs to be straightened as part of the services and had extensions installed for her wedding day the following week.

Not for a texture release it’s advise to pass 4-7x when doing a karatin treament or texture release. But thanks for the comment

It’s a no for me cause first the blow dryer heat, than the multiple passing of the flat iron , than the heat from the curling iron. if someone cares about hair and it’s a passion to them , that person should invest in getting high quality equipments that won’t add any unnecessary Strains to the clients hair. There are flat irons that Onlyyyyy requires one passing and the heat doesn’t have to be so high to achieve straight hair. Cause if you do research you’ll understand that tight curls like hers can not I repeat can not handle all that heat no matter how much “ heat protectant oil” you put on it.

The Avlon texture release requires 5-7 passes with a hair straighteners to active the keratin that costs over the hair for the treatments. This clients has a texture release treatment on her hair. You would never pass anyone’s hair more than twice unless doing this treatments. But thank you for your comment
