After viewing hours of content from your channel, I think it’s safe to say you are a genuinely good dude. I find it extremely satisfying that you have been successful enough in your career to truly enjoy the fruits of your labor. I don’t think it’s winning at slots, or having a Budweiser that keeps people coming back to your channel. It’s the pure joie de vivre you display. I know everyone goes through difficult times. Which is why seeing someone enjoying their situation is so enjoyable to us. For personal reasons, I hope you continue vlogging for years. But regardless, I want to thank you for the enjoyment of vicariously sharing in your enjoyment. However, I’m hoping Swansea City will take six points off of Sheffield Wednesday this season.
Thanx for doing the Q&A, found it to be personable, informative and totally enjoyable just like the whole series. So glad you did just what you planned and didn't deviate, you can say 'I did it my way.' So looking forward to October's series in Reno and Vegas. Will be so pleased when they put the Vegas flights back on direct from Manchester again next year. Have a wonderful rest of summer and enjoy your holiday with Suzanne. God bless. ❤😊😮😅❤
Just to say you definitely DON'T need to try and top previous vlogs. We love watching your exploits, whether it's an incredible road trip across the whole of America or just a simple slot video in London! I hope you keep it going as long as possible!
Back in 2018 I wanted to stay at the newly renovated Park MGM. I did a quick search on RU-vid to see any room reviews or property walkthroughs. That is when I discovered We Work to Visit Las Vegas. By following Dave and Michelle I learned about your channel and have been a fan ever since. So keep those room tours coming.
Matt, I don't comment much but I've watched every vlog. I go to Vegas often from the UK and can relate to your trips. I absolutely loved this series. The quality and standard of vlog is just at an all time high. Will miss regular videos and can't wait for you to return. You're a top man, you and Suzanne are a lovely couple and I wish you all the best mate. Stay lucky.
I really admire your devotion Matt, and the feeling of every trip being special after so many visits. For me, my last visit to Vegas in 2022 was only my 8th but It felt different, I just got worn down by the endless losing and the way the atmosphere in the city has changed since the pandemic. I love watching your vlogs for the enthusiasm and humour (and the odd history lesson) and hopefully I will get the itch back to return some day...
Thanks for the long Q&A Matt, your excitement for Vegas is always infectious and I hope you get the Vegas bug before your Oct trip as I'm sure you will.
Fantastic Q & A Matt to finish off an equally fantastic 5 week vlog across America. Very open, very honest & from the heart. Think that's why so many subscribers love what you do as you're very sincere. 😊 Thanks again Mr B - looking forward to October 🎉🎲🇬🇧🇺🇸🍺 All the best to you, Suzanne & of course, the boys! 😉
I understand you’re not wanting to move to Vegas. It wouldn’t be the same if you were in it all of the time. For me, I relate more to the vloggers who come in for a vacation and share several parts of their experiences, because that’s what happens when I go to Vegas. Some slots, some food and drink, some walking around to take it all in, etc. and then return home and reflect on the time you had and look forward to the next visit. Anticipation is a big component. Plus, I need a little time away to lick my wounds (losses).
Thank you for all that you've shared with us over the years. I've watched since you began as I'm also a Vegas lover (fanatic) and everything you've filmed is absolutely fantastic!! It was because of you that I found Hog and 2 cent and the rest of our Vegas family. Thank you again Matt ❤. P.S. You're love for Suzanne and your fur babies melt my heart. Much love and respect amigo 🤗
On the last vlog I asked you if you'd ever consider moving to Vegas (thanks for answering, btw), and I added, "Thank you, Jules and Suzanne for sharing this journey with us." Just to correct myself, I meant to say thanks TO you, Jules and Suzanne...all of you. 😁 And I can see why you'd want to keep Vegas as a sort-of special destination spot but continue to live in England. Besides, you guys have a much better healthcare system; I wouldn't want to lose that if I were you. I'm looking forward to the next Vegas vlog!
This Q&A was a great way to wrap this whole series up. This format was far superior to trying to catch comments in real time. Thanks again for taking us all along!
Thanks so much for sharing and being so open and candid Matt. Enjoyed every second of the series and look forward to the October ones. Have a great time in Spain! Cheers to you, Suzanne and the boys 🍻
Mr. Bridger, I recently found your material and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have exhausted your library of material. Hopefully, you have another Vegas adventure scheduled. I am looking forward to the new installments.
Matt ! 2003 was a great year for Vegas! I was there when the young 21 year old hit the 39 million mega bucks!! March 21, 2003! Paris was lucky 🍀 for me my first visit, $750 on a 2 coin .25 cents bet 😊, then $1600 on a double diamond $2 bet. Never again 20 years later 😂. Cesar’s was my home back then, Now it’s Venetian and the Wynn . I’m a kindred spirit: absolutely live to visit, but would never move there! The magic would be gone. Thanks for all the hard work! My husband is a HUGE Fan!!! ❤🎉✅🍀⭐️😎
Trilled with your decision not to stop your vlogs. In speaking for my hubby and I , we truly enjoy your vlogs. We travelled to Vegas for the first time in April 2010 and that started a twice a year visit there until 2019 and haven’t been back since partly because of the hassle of the tax on winnings. Here in Canada we don’t pay tax on gambling or lottery wins. With that said we had been following many vlogers but it became not so enjoyable as they made a business out of it and in our opinion their paid subscribers became more important. You stand out from them and fall into a class all of your own whether you meant to or not. We love reading the comments on your vlogs which proves how well loved you are and how we love how you do you. Keep up the awesome work. Can’t wait to see you in October. Much respect and love from Canada.
Wonderful summary of your trip. Your total honestly is refreshing! Some questions seemed awfully personal and made me cringe. I love, love, love your VLOGS! Keep them coming. And I love your pups and especially Suzanne! Looking forward to your future videos. Cheers Kathy
As always, thanks for sharing. Really cool Q&A - I could fit and listen to you talk Vegas for hours! Hope you enjoy craps when you are taught, I fell in love with the game.
Been watching you since your second series of vlogs. Really sorry I missed you in Atlantic City. Loved every minute of your vlogs and appreciate your openness.
Great wrap-up of the whole series. Very good insights into all aspects of it. I found the question about your finances interesting. I remember thinking at one time, hey this guy was a banker, he must have learned something about investing and saving for retirement. Good for you! Looking forward to your Tahoe and Vegas vlogs in October. I probably won’t be getting back to Vegas till next year so I have to get my fix somewhere! Cheers Matt!
Thanks again for taking us with you on your trip across America and Vegas 2 weeks, loved every min of your vlogs. Also enjoyed watching this Q& A session,. Watched it whilst sitting on the balcony of apartment in Gran Canaria, relaxing with a large Sangria. Enjoy your week in Gran Canaria with Suzanne .can’t wait for your October Vlogs, looking forward to seeing group pull with Begas Vaby.
Great series and really sad it ended. Can’t wait till your new vlogs. And I think this is going to be the third or fourth time that I just missed you in Vegas. Lol. I leave Vegas on Oct 3rd. Maybe we will cross paths one day 👍 ❤ from Texas
Great series Matt. Finally caught up with the Q and A at last! 10 days and I'll be there hoping for the same Huff n More Puff luck! 🙏 Keep them coming and I hope retirement continues to treat you well!
loved your q and a my first time anybody mentioned me on any platform just glad it came from you my fav channel on youtube than anybody else cheers matt and im so glad your carrying on with the content mike from st helens
Thanks for the absolutely wonderful trip details. Really looking forward to possibly seeing you in October. I'll be watching to see where you land those last couple of days.
I really enjoyed this entire series!! Thanks for taking the time to say hello to us at the Plaza, it was a pleasure to meet you!🎉 There is no other vlogger I could watch answer questions for 2 hours but I still wanted more when this ended. It was so cool that you shared more personal details about your life. Glad you decided not to stop vlogging after BAA. You are the top vlogger we all look up too. Best of luck in October 🍻🎰🎰
What an awesome Vlog to finish the series. I hope that you and Suzanne will have a wonderful time in Gran Canaria. I totally understand why you don't want to leave London to live in America. I lived in Croydon (remember Scarlets?) back in the day, later on in West London for eight years, and if it weren't for my hubby, I'd be living in London now. Maybe one day you want to do a vlog about London and show the casinos in and around Leicester Square, to give the American viewers some idea what life is like in London. Thank you again for entertaining us the way only you can do it😊
Interesting comments on comps/hosting Matt, we have never taken a room offer or anything else, we use our MGM card religiously and sign everything to the room in terms of meals, Starbucks and show tickets during our trips and generally get it all comp'd off just before we check out. Ironically the only time we didn't was staying a New York New York in '15 which was our worse losing trip, between us we lost $8k in 11 days and got lumped with a $1,250 bill at the end, we haven't lost that amount before or after and always been fully comp'd at the end.
Really enjoyed the series. Congratulations on a fantastic trip. Just FYI I won a handpay at Venetian Las Vegas in October 2022 and they told me they didn’t do ITIN, so I had to apply for an ITIN and do a tax return to get the money back when I got home to the UK
Thank you so much for doing this one. Your sharing is what connects your followers to you, and makes your VLOG great. I admire you for waling away from corporate life. I am looking forward to my turn to do the same. I also admire you for doing BAA. You dreamed it, and you did it. I am amazed how well it went. You were blessed to not have delays or big issues. I will miss seeing your VLOG. I am grateful to be connected to you since your 2020 trip/VLOG. I hope you enjoy your summer in London. I hope you get the chance to read the book I shared with you. Cheers my friend!
Category B facilities like most Indian casinos are only allowed to run bingo games where you are playing against everyone else, it can be worth it if it's quiet, the Vegas casinos are all category C
I'm so glad that @ 1:04:10 you said your not planning to stop your videos, I love your Vegas trips, looking forward to you going back to Reno, I have a pokies/slots RU-vid channel too that I started so that could share my love of pokies/slots & Vegas, so I totally get what you mean, have Beautiful week my friend🍹😺🍹 Like 614, Good Luck, Stay Safe & keep on having fun my friend🍀💖🍀
Hi m8ty I am a late starter on your channel but I have enjoyed everything you have put on its nice that you can choose when where and how keep going m8ty love it
I once told Border control when asked, on arriving in Vegas that I had $4k+...they then proceeded to a full search and bag check...so never again..when iasked i just say a couple of thousand...been good ever since. Glad u had a great time!
Matt, are you aware, that your Ceasars Rewards Comps, transfer to the UK properties? I've done it myself, in 2013 where $140 Comp, became 70 Pounds. I had a great dinner at an Asian Dining Room, at The Casino at the Empire, London. Truly First Class in every way!
When I took more than 10k I was sent to secondary inspection. Had to fill in a form about why I had it and everything went through another scanner. It was a pain. Any currency counts, including cheques and premium bonds etc. I won’t do it again, lol.
The map shows you guys going to Kinder, LA. The casino there is a Indian casino that operates like the Vegas casinos, 24-7 comped drinks. Did you go in and gamble?
I’ve only just caught up and have to say what a great series as always your money management was outstanding guess the bank job paid off my only regret was that I couldn’t buy you a beer in Atlantic City 👍👍👍
One more thing..don’t discount the red screen/bingo card games at the Indian locations. Great money can be made!!! (The equivalent of Huff’n More Puff payouts.) 😏. You just have to tolerate the bells!
Aww this came out on my Birthday! I have a question not casino related. Back in the day did you watch Trainspotting the movie? I heard it was really big in the UK, and it has always been one of my favorite movies. Can you please share with me your experience?
That was the best way to recap the Trip of a lifetime…But… we all know the best part of the trip was doing something that most Americans have never done… But… we all know they want to & that was being in the same building as the Ex President of the United States of America & the next President of the United States of America 🇺🇸 All the best & I look forward to your next Vlog in October Cheers 🍻🥃🎰💵💸💰🇨🇦😜
@@MattBridger Great. Sorry if this is too many. 1. Do you indulge in any online casinos to fill in the gaps between your Vegas visits? 2. In 2000 they were was a slot game called Cash Crop, which I used to love playing. (I started visiting Vegas mid-90s, but I’ve only been half as many times as you) Did you ever play that one? If so, what did you think of it? 3. I noticed that you didn’t film the sphere. Did you go and have a view of it? What do you think of it?
1. Very rarely. I prefer physical casinos so frequent a couple in central London. 2. Yes, once on the vlog I think. I didn't win much and never played it again haha 3. I saw it from a distance. I'm not that interested in it really but will visit if i'm near. I guess i just didn't think it was worth a special visit.
@@MattBridger Cool. I once played Cash Crop in the Golden Nugget and got the feature, it didn’t pay me a single cent! I did have a nice jackpot out of it, once, though, just over $1500, I think. Hope you are enjoying your retirement and look forward to your next vlogs. 👍
Just listening about the delay flight tell Suzanne it takes about 6 weeks with BA there animals I have nothing but problems with them my flight was delayed and they tried saying I was not due any compensation as the delay was due to departing disabled people from the flight which was a lie and to use that as a excuse was wrong,so tell Suzanne they might try something like that but what I did was take the to the European aviation court, all on line and on a link through BA site only costs 25 pound win or loose but to be honest they look at your claim and let you know in a week or so so keep this in mind ,I love your channel and I love your manner on screen good guy and jules is a great guy to, and obviously Suzanne 👏👏👏👏👏👏I got 3000 euros from my delayed flight in the end for 5 of us on route to Orlando so it was nice 👍
@@MattBridger No, you can't do that. There is no legal way to "just move" to the US from the UK, or from the developed world in general. It is not a question of application, it is just simply that the legal opportunities are not there. The easiest is to apply for investor visa, set aside 500k$ and some change and then you are probably good to go. You can freely climb the fence on the south and in for life, but legally, through visa is just a no go.
