I share your opinions on Francesca's storyline. Inclusivity just for the sake of it bothers me. But Bridgerton has been going down that lane since the beginning. In the books I think the introduction of Michael Stirling is a way for Francesca to experience passionate love later in her life, and never in the books does it give the impression that she was into women at all. John was her soulmate and she was attracted to him of course, but infertility was an issue. The relationship in the show just feels cheapened and it really bothered me. For me, this aspect of Francesca's storyline and Benedict's storyline were the absolute worst thing about the show. It made me rethink if I want to watch future seasons

bi women can date only men their entire lives and still be bi. do you really need "indications"? and how is it inclusivity for the sake of it when gay folks have existed in literature plays and media for thousands of years? it doesn't feel "cheapened". you made that up
