@@alexx5064 There are some people who have the ability to cry when they choose, and, unfortunately, some horrible ones use that ability to manipulate. It’s a sad truth, but it does not mean every time a person is crying, they are attempting to deceive or manipulate someone. I think those who believe that may have been hurt in the past and are just very wary of tears now. I think with age and/or wisdom, you can start to recognize when a person is sincere or scheming.
I *wept* watching Pen & Colin’s first kiss. The MUSIC??? So good. She is so without hope, she had to destroy her own reputation by writing about her lessons with Colin in Whistledown, so to her, her prospects just went from slim to nothing. In the book that quiet “Thank you” from Pen really fucks with Colin because he doesn’t want Pen to think he felt pity when it actually rocked his entire worldview.
That first kiss was just beautiful. I loved that it’s not like the past first kisses in previous seasons- more sweet rather than all over each other (not that I didn’t love the others). This is their own love story.
Your reaction to Phillipa being married and not knowing what sex is was hilarious! 😂 And your reaction to "the kiss" . Yep, Colin was not ready for that. It was very sweet. Just what they both needed.
You made me squeal with excitement all over again with your first kiss reaction! You got up OUTTTA that chair - and I hit that LIKE button so hard. LOL. Love you!
15:13 Regarding aristocratic rankings (from top to bottom) it goes: Emperor/Empress, King/Queen, Grand Duke/Grand Duchess, Prince/Princess, Duke/Duchess, Marquess/Marchioness, Earl/Countess, Viscount/Viscountess, Baron/Baroness, and lastly Knight/Dame or Lady, though these are not inherited but received through merit. Kings/Queens are addressed as “your majesty” Princes/Princesses are “your highness” or “your royal highness” if they are directly in line to a throne Dukes/Duchesses are “your grace” And then everyone else is “my lord/my lady” Until Knight which is “sir” So, the Bridgertons, while well-off financially, are not the highest ranking possible. This is why Daphne’s match is extremely impressive. Interestingly, I don’t believe we know the late Lord Featherington’s rank. Fun Fact: Emperor and Grand Duke/Grand Duchess will not be heard much here due to those titles not being applied to the English aristocracy until later (emperor), and the GD title we may only hear about in other countries (like Russia) during this period.
once again amazing reaction. but tell me the chemistry between Nicola & Luke is phenomenal. but wait there is so much more to come and im excited to see your reaction!!!
