I'm shocked by their ages. Makeup, hair and costume design crew did well on making them look really young. Edit: people are missing my point and the replies are getting really annoying. Yes they are young, but 30 years old (real ages) and 18 years old (show ages) are not the same type of young and that's what I'm pointing out.

I agree. I loved season 1. But good grief, season 2 blows it out of the water! The relationship between Kate and Anthony feels more real and tangible than Daphne and Simon. And of course there’s the added bonus of not having a rape scene. 🥴 That’s definitely less problematic this go around.

Even if it's not a whole season, I do hope she marries the Queen's nephew. She may have been a bit naive, but she was lovely. Plus what a slap in the face for the Sheffields to see her become a princess without their meddling!

Jonathan and Simone have some of the best chemistry I’ve ever seen in any medium. Film, television, theater, real life…. oh my god. Absolutely impeccable. Can’t wait to see more of them in the upcoming seasons!

My favorite character is Benedict because he a man trying to find himself. A real seeker. I would like to see his story be the last season because he is so interesting. I enjoyed Simon, the Duke of Hastings. He had some issues in terms of his upbringing and love life and he and Daphne grew into a loving couple. I hope Rege Jean Page returns on day. Eloise and Theo have a lot in common and it will be great to see them again. Colin and Penelope are a very cute couple. The characters are interesting and the show is fascinating.

I found out about Nicola's age last year. The Netflix RU-vid channel (I think) published an interview with her and she talking about going to University. I was shocked then as she definitely takes care of herself being that she also plays a teen on Derry Girls. I wish for her success

I love that he was able to come out and be comfortable in the public eye enough to not hide... ❤️ it’s awful that people ever get forced into the closet but he’s a wonderful actor and I hope he’s happier now. The picture with his boyfriend was sweet, and his friendship with Simone is so cute!!! I love that she and Jonathan got close as friends.

I knew Claudia Jessie was my age, because she was in a mini series version of Vanity Fair in 2018. And Nicola is so funny! She plays a high schooler on Derry Girls, and it’s rather convincing. I think the third season comes to Netflix later this year.

ALSO the comment he made about not courting her wasn't exactly a lie he doesn't court her he just proposes. Also he was putting the other men off thinking about Penelope because he is starting to have feelings for her.

How do I pick my favourite person from Bridgetown. I love them all & I love Brigerton I wish it would never end. I suffer anxiety & depression & these series including Queen Charlotte lit my life up cause I dream of wishing I had lived in that period. I’m from Melbourne Australia & I must say to everyone involved thank you for Brigerton I must admit though I did like daphne & Simon . Plz can the series with Penelope & Eloise she was fantastic in her role.

Not to be surface level only.. But it is so nice to see true Natural beauties through the whole thing. I mean if you're going to cast talented And also pretty, this is the way. They're all uniquely beautiful in size, shape, age, type of beauty, and in skin tone. Their acting chops make them beyond attractive. The casting director clearly went for vibe/energy and natural attractiveness which is one HELL of a lot more than I can say for America's mean girl popularity contest casting based primarily on what they think will sell to Midwestern and Southern white America, and whomever has a "talent" for riding the casting couch like a rodeo champ. So refreshing to see excellent casting for once in a VERY long time.
