Is this about Bridgerton or body images? By equating the season 3 to merely a story of a plus sized woman , you are making a bigger deal out of than is needed.

as a mature woman i am so addicted to this season more so than the last one, pen is such a change for us overweight ladies to see representation and she is so attractive so sexy i hope they feature in the next season

The guest Saba is really beautiful, fit and attractive 👌 and yes, she talks sense too 🌻😘. The host Aamna is warm and creative as usual. Good Girls! That show had three main leads and one of them so plus size. Not once her weight was mentioned or it was an issue. She had her storyline with her family and her normal human struggles but no mention of weight. The other lead is not plus size but also not conventionally thin

Queen Charlotte was my favorite so far! Season 1 was adorable and Season 2 was like watching an Indian drama in English 😅 So far season 3 is good can’t wait for more episodes 😊

Being Fit is important, I agree with Saba ... to exercise, eat well, and have all your organs working properly, medical reports normal, is being fit and beautiful. Also, embracing your uniqueness. It was refreshing to see Saba embrace her curls and complexion with such confidence... and be totally comfortable in her skin. 👏🌻

As someone who has avidly watched all seasons and seen Penelope’s growth. Her weight was never made to be an issue or highlighted, her family is a bit of an oddity itself, they are flashy and loud, compared to her gambling father, manipulative mother and ditzy sisters, Penelope is actually the normal one. And she is respected more, especially by the Bridgertons. She has shades of grey though, her struggle to keep the double identity, costs her close friendship with Eloise. I find Eloise a much better written character, deeper , where she takes on the concept of marriage and being a debutante being socially awkward. She is ambitious and a feminist who wants to go to college like her brothers did. Penelope has no such ambitions, she likes being part of the ton and the parties etc she enjoys her gossip column. Doesn’t seem conscious of her weight, being confident and independently earning money.

All my life I tried to gain weight. Now that I did after 2 kids. And honestly just how much I should be as a 5’11 woman. People having double the weight as mine would come at me saying thorra kam karo. So, it’s everyone. That has to go through this. Every color. Every shape. Every face!

Another reason Why We Love Penelope Featherington is because of nicola couglin whom at the height of her career has raised 1.8 Million dollars for Palestinians and had been advocating for Palestine since October

Kathani is not a very common indian name… legit heard it first time even after being in a multicultural indian community. It kind of means ‘an utterance or statement’ which does not make sense for a name but is just a pure hindi word used in text. For eg ‘who has spoken this statement?’ Will be ‘ye kiski kathani hai’ (kuth-a-ni) not kath-aani

Tbh, I think every one of us know exactly how thin or fat we are. I mean, the first thing you do in the morning IS look at yourself in the mirror. So, if we've gained weight, WE KNOW! It's just extremely demeaning to have people state the obvious. Like, WE KNOW!!!! We really DON'T need anyone to tell us!!

Desi Mothers body shaming their daughters.. *sigh* it's led to an unhealthy relationship wid food and even exercise. It's so much unlearning to exercise not to lose weight but to be healthy and basically not die in my 30s. We talk a lot about narcissist parenting. No one really explores trauma due to body shaming by ur own parents. And subsequently by ur partners. And every goddamn person in d world.

Asian women are by nature(genetically) supposed to be curvy and voluptuous... if you look at the ancient carvings of women on Ajanta and Alora, or kamasutra... women were never supposed to be thin. Being curvy was considered a sign of beauty and fertility ... Asian women are never supposed to be stick thin. This is the French/ western body type that we have blindly superimposed on Indian, Asian women... and now the whole world. 😮😢
