I think Colin was very valid in his feelings! This is the second time he has gone into an engagement only to find out he is being lied to, which no doubt stirred up some old wounds for him. Also lady whistledown has caused a lot of strife for his family whom he is very protective over. Its a complicated issue which is why this season allows for so much nuanced conversation to be had about it. Love ur reaction and how laid back u are about all of it!

You are very funny and also not so judgmental about it. People expect too much from a silly little inaccurate period romcom and judge the characters without the eyes of the period. I agree with most of what you said. I wish they had gotten more scenes getting freaky or just in love, bc it took too long for them to be fine. Hopefully, next season (in two years lol). I think next season is Benedict, actually. Hopefully we will see him exploring his new bisexuality. One thing about Cressida, I agree now she was sort of trapped, but she truly sowed what she planted, because she was in the same situation as Penelope, they debut together. But instead of her trying to get close with Penelope, she was cruel to her for no reason. She wasn't even real competition to her (in her eyes). No one paid attention to her, she was a wallflower and instead of competing with the "popular" ladies, Cressida just bullied her for fun. If she had been kind to her, Penelope could have helped her earlier, or even found a way to avoid her marriage. Even Eloise, she tried to befriend her in s2 bc she is a Bridgerton. And while I agree Eloise was not a great friend to her, Cressida was always a bully, to Pen, to Daphne. I think she was influenced by her mom to never trust others, but chosing to kick someone who was already down certainly was a choice. And it made people dislike her.
