For everyone who is hating on LW can I remind you Daphne would have been married to that other Lord if Penelope didn't put that in her paper, Colin would have raised two children that are not his own believing their his for the rest of his life, so LW has said a lot of bad things, but she has done a lot good as well, also literally the Queen of England trusted LW to scandalized the Lord who was forcing himself on Daphne because the Queen knew that LW can get to everyone that's how big and powerful Penelope is.

OMG! Pen left the Bridgertons and went straight to the printers. She wrote their engagement announcement on the way there. Pen works so hard

The most complex season. I love it. Colin finally loves someone who loves him back, but his hero complex and insecurities prevent him from seeing that someone can love him without him having to be their savior or their "purpose". Colin must learn that he can be loved just for being himself, and that's enough. Pen faces the same issue; she has low self-esteem and still can't believe someone loves her and won't abandon her. Everyone in her life has left her (Pen's family emotionally abandoned her because they don't care about her in the slightest; Eloise, whom Pen cared deeply for, abandoned her upon learning she was LW, Society has never given her a chance.). So, she struggles to confide in Colin. Pen clings to LW because it's the only thing in her life that hasn't failed her. But she must learn that she's not alone anymore and her future husband is part of her team, and she must trust him. Eloise needs to mature a lot. She's right to want to tell Colin, but as Pen's best friend for many years, she still doesn't understand Pen. Eloise partly fueled that idea of LW by praising LW's work, and maybe if Eloise had listened to Pen enough, Pen wouldn't feel the need to talk to a piece of paper. Eloise never understood that Pen didn't want to remain a spinster like her; Pen wanted to experience love, get married, and have children. SPECTACULAR SEASON. Drama situations that make a lot of sense and with which people can identify. Love and friendship.

Scenes when A, B and C are all “brothering” together are my favourite, in ANY season.

Colin looked so pleased with himself when he was talking to Anthony and Benedict about things happening _swiftly_ with Penelope. Like, his face was all 😏.

Colin's brothers surprised that he's getting married so quickly when they themselves have only glanced at their future brides for 2 seconds and immediately proposed is so funny to me 😂

In the book colin was the one who took Penelope's side and stood by her in support. he was the one who broke the news of Penelope being lady whistledown and he was proud admitting it. But in show he was standing in the crowd still angry with her and only after her speech did he really and finally talk with her with softness in his voice. In whole show he never professed his love and admiration to her properly while Penelope was showing her love and confessing it to him on multiple occasions. In 2nd season Anthony's possessiveness was top notch and in this i.e. 3rd season it was like only Penelope love colin while colin like a child with crayon was busy drawing pictures snd choosing which he liked the most. It was like the character lacked sincerity. I am sorry if it hurts but then i am just writing what i observed.

This season was supposed to be about Penelope and Colin but felt like their story got rushed and little time dedicated to their love story and love scenes and their story got mixed and meddled with love story of Francesca ,irrelevant story club owner and his wife,Colin mom and love interest, Anthony and Kate moments and Colin brother

What i love about what Colin experiences for the first time in his life, is for years he has had casual sexual relationships with women (his brothel prostitutes, the women he meets on his travels, etc). He had the physical connection with them but not the emotional connection. He even said in his journal he’s amazed he could feel such physical intimacy and feel so distant /lonely. With Penelope he finally has the physical and the emotional connection and intimacy he has been craving all along. He finally experiences love for the first time…. He knows Pen is his soulmate and the only woman who will bring him true happiness. He finally found what he was always looking for in his best friend Pen. This relationship is not rushed at all. Their chemistry and love has been going on for years.

i think lady whistledown's last line, " ... cannot tolerate a lie" occurs right after cressida tries to take the prize for herself by claiming that she is whistledown, cause pen is not going to let anyone else take credit for all her work

I hope Netflix won't destroy Francesca story by bringing Michaela inside of Micheal. Her story is my favorite as it deals with infertility journey which is very crucial and so touching. Please Netflix don't destroy Francesca story

No, no, no! Netflix you have changed Francesca's story completely from the book and made Michael into Michaela 😡😡. John dies a few years after their marriage sadly from an aneurysm and his cousin Michael becomes the new Earl of Kilmartin. He fell in love with Francesca at her wedding, but kept it secret. He goes away for 4yrs, returns, Fran has kept the Kilmartin estate in order then she falls for him and they wed. I HATE this stupid change Netflix and Shonda have done.

I have no idea why the plot was changed this way. Actually, I know. I have nothing against LGBT people, but do they really have to be shown in every family in every series? It is known that most families do not have homosexual people... Enough of this, I would say. Michael Sterling changed into Michaela? And I liked the story of Francesca and Michael so much... Now I can only hope that JOHN doesn't die, or that he actually still has a cousin Michael. And why was Benedict's character so destroyed? When the actress playing Michaela was introduced, I thought it was Sophie... She would be perfect for this role. I hope that the scriptwriters will reconsider the matter, looking at the viewers' comments. I have mixed feelings, but I still love this series. :)

She’s so used to being alone and doing everything alone that it must be hard to get out of that independent mindset.

I'm so dissappointed with Shodaland. I first really love Bridgerton during Daphne and Anthony seasons. A bit far from the book but very interesting and very romantic (which is the theme for Bridgerton). But thank god Pen and Colin did end up together. But seeing Benedict's storyline and that ending with Michaela instead of Michael really brought me down. Why is everything has to be queer now? There are queer relationship in the show, why has to make the main queer when in the book story they aren't. I really like Fran's storyline in the book because it represent hope, love and moving forward with grief. How she lost hope of having her own family at one point before Michael. But no, Shondaland just want to shove everything down viewers' throat that the show is so "woke." This season isn't so bad, but how Shondaland write Benedict's and Fran's story, well, you lost a viewer (or more) for your next season. I consider this series over with this season's ending. Btw, what happened to Daphne? I understand the actress left the show, but could add it to the script that she stayed away due to pregnancy or something? So weird bringing Kate and Anthony on and off like that like they are nobody. Anthony is the weirdest because he is the head of the family, but they made him seem gone and don't give a damn about his duty that in the book he cared so much. Benedict is said to replace him but in the show I just see Benedict the lover boy. He doesn't even paint anymore while in the book he still does throughout the series.

Although Eloise is pushing Pen to tell the truth, she has a good point- "Until he knows the real u he cannot possibly love you".

I was looking forward to this season, but I'm quite disappointed. I felt that there was not enough Penelope and Colin. And Benedict and Francesca are now bisexual. What the hell... PS: I like to watch bl series, but this. So instead of Sophie, we get Suarez?🤦‍♀🤦‍♀

First you ruin Jane Austen's "Persuasion" for me, now Bridgerton... I think I will stay with my books. This is romance, and not the overdramatic soap opera you've made out of it! ☹️

Benedict's storyline is extremely disappointing! Their was no need for these added characters and activities. And the season was split for all this nonsense. This season didn't give what Netflix thought it was giving. And Michaela.... 😑🙄

Penelope is really eating the girls up with her outfits this season. She is glowing, and I love that for her.

So the one story that is going to be cut off is a story of a woman dealing with grief, miscarriage, infertility and through all of that finding love again and finally getting her heart’s desire and becoming a mother. Thanks for “inclusivity” Netflix 🤦‍♀️ P.S. I am bisexual and all for seeing someone like me on the screen. And Masali Baduza is incredibly beautiful and could be a great addition to the cast. But now it is happening at the expense of the story and struggles that are so rarely told and are still kind of taboo for romantic shows.

I like that they added in the brothers questioning the speed that they were engaged. Its like the director knew it would be a slight issues for some viewers (me) and now i can relate to his brothers feelings on it. Colin is wanting it to happen fast so they can continue with what they were doing in that carriage scene 😂❤

Anthony is compelled to duel someone each season. First he (almost) dueled Simon, then he mercilessly tormented himself over his feelings for Kate, and now Colin is the new target.

Well 2nd part is better than 1st But I stand by my point that season 3 just doesn’t do it for me It’s not a show about love anymore It’s focused on feminism, diversity, scandals and intrigues but definitely not on love Tho seeing Kathony expecting melted my heart❤️

This season is by far the best of all seasons of Bridgerton.

Polin in front of the mirror (THE MIRROR!!) 3. Benedict pulling Anthony's leg about duel 4. Albion's face whenever he sees his SIL happy and in love 5. 'I have always loved you, Colin' and the twirl in the church! 6. Lady Danbury beaming at Polin dancing from the background 7. Polin's kiss at the end 8. Kanthony looking at each other in the church pews, so very in love (possibly them thinking back to their own wedding when Colin and Pen is getting married) 9. Violet dancing with Marcus!! Edit 1: just had to add it but how funny is it that Anthony, who slept with Kate before their wedding, was about to question Polin's "swift" engagement XD

I'm happy to announce that what happened to Mulan will happen to Bridgerton! Bridgerton's next few seasons would be a complete failure. Due to the change of genders that is going to be done (Francesca), many viewers already boycotted watching the future seasons. If you want to make a movie for lgbt couples, maybe it's better to create some characters instead of destroying the predetermined characters. It is good to introduce a little change and imagination in the books, but we should never forget that too much deviation from the original story has never had a good result in the cinema. You should never create deep differences. I hope you will reconsider the fact that the main characters are lesbians, otherwise I hope you will accept the consequences.

it was genuinely so bad and overhyped. that grand PR campain, hundreds of interviews with the cast online and for what? definitely not enough intimate scenes between main leads (who felt like side characters and only got like 30mins screen time in total). unnecessary plots - the whole Mondrich storyline is completely and utterly unnecessary, Danbury’s brother, the appearance of MichaelA, weird Benedict’s shenanigans and him not mentioning art in a conversation where he was all about it? am i the only one that feels so sad and devastated for Cressida? her mother is physically abused (the bruised arm moment was so painful), she got ridiculed when Penelope got praised for the same thing? unhappy and restricted in her own life, Debling’s absence in part 2. he would’ve been perfect cause he isn’t engaged in gossip at all, and wouldn’t be interested in the whole ‘unmask the lady whistledown’ thing and could genuinely support her. i was hoping she would run out to him seeking help in her situation. or if anything, Creolise would make more sense as the lgbt plot than whatever the writers have in mind (however i’m not so sure anymore after how they’ve complextly ruined their friendship).

Ok, i've had time to finish the season and really think about it. My conclusion is SEASON 3 IS A TRAINWRECK. Part 1 gave us NOTHING and part 2 gave us a shitshow. The Mondrich's and hell, even Benedict's unecessary sex scenes need to go. I skipped all of them. It added nothing. Colin is a man-child. I see ZERO love between him and Penelope. They have more chemistry in interviews than onscreen (this is a testament to the mediocre writers. They should have stayed on strike, even AI would have written a better storyline). If a kiss and a makeover was all it took to make him realise his feelings for her, well he does not deserve her. It felt too rushed. The main couple barely had enough time together. Eloise is a HORRIBLE friend to both Cressida and Penelope. I can't believe nobody called out how selfish she is.Let's not even get started on Francesca's story. Too many plotlines, too much woke agenda (and i'm always down for some woke agenda but this was too much even for me, PLEASE DON'T TURN THIS INTO THE INTOLERABLE SEASON 4 OF SEX EDUCATION). Also what the hell was going on with the costumes this season???????? If the writers dont get a grip for the next seasons, i'm afraid we're witnessing the beginning of the end for bridgerton. I can't believe they followed the exquisite season 2 with this shitshow

Eloise not knowing about Penelope has been in love with Colin is completely because she is oblivious to everything. Everyone else seemed to know about it except for her. Sure, Pen didn’t tell her but it was still extremely obvious. And Eloise spent the most time with Penelope more than anyone. Even Lord Debling knew of it. And he didn’t even know Pen or Colin that well.

I love watching bl series, I don't have a problem with who loves who, but after this season, I prefer to stay with the books. Ugh! Eloise has been a pain this season! Penelope,self-made woman doing big things and getting all her hard works worth and a “bff” is screwing it up. Cant wait for this! Also, I, literally, keep saying,”she’s so pretty,” about Penelope…She’s absolutely stunning and keeps getting prettier!

Its so strange that lady featherington and Penelope are of the same mettle- daring, intelligent, brave women...yet this mother daughter duo never realises it.

This was a *messy season* for sure! So many expectations only to be disappointed. Polin couple was robbed with screen time in their own season and so many sub plots were going on that were very unnecessary and unrelated. Their was so much potential in the chilhood friends to lovers trope. The flashback scenes, the depth of the characters, some actual family scenes and the couple’s marvellous chemistry was all left unexplored. It was like they were rushing into everything and jumping from one character to another very unnaturally. Mondrichs why? Lady Danbury’s unnecessary conflict with her brother why? Benedicts 3some why? Cressida’s elevated screen time only for her to have a ending like that why? The only couple I really enjoy this season was Kate Anthony scenes just appropriate and the chemistry was off the roof!!

This part “Colin getting to know who is whistletown” is giving me chills ! Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
