The whole "I could DIE tomorrow" "You are not going to die tomorrow" "But I COULD and it would KILL ME" "You would already be dead" conversation is so chaotic holy moly 😭
The Colin being cringe is on purpose though right? Like he’s being fake and lady W called him out, and pens begging is her insecurities, they both need so much growing still in just 4 eps 😭
I can't be the only one who understand pen asking for the kiss it made so emotional i cried especially after that conversation with her mother she was giving up on everything related to love
I know people are complaining about the begging and kissing but we have to remember that it happened in the book. Pen was actually 25 to 27 years old in the book and hadn't kiss anyone so she literally asked Colin to kiss her.
Idc what people think , Pen was brave for asking Colin to kiss her and take charge of her life for once . The banter between them before it felt so natural. Colin’s little comment about her already being dead felt so genuine. He’s trying so hard to be logical with Pen and she shuts that down immediately and just asks. Sometimes the bravest thing someone can do is ask the question they are most afraid of.
Unpopular opinion (?): Colin looks like the ventriloquist doll from goosebumps EVERY TIME they try and show him as handsome. Only when he’s desperate and down bad for Penelope do I believe he could be attractive.
