She's on my list of great TM outfits - Phil Wang's "ballsy" Bruce Lee - Fern Brady's "bifurcating" Taskmistress S&M kit - Bridget's Zorro outfit - Mawaan Rizwan's orange astronaut suit - Lee Mack's Evil Knievel jacket - Noel Fielding's Skeleton Banana onesie
I love how Alex is genuinely losing his patience in the pedometer task 😂😂😂 Also, whoever decided to edit Bridget’s funny walk over House Queens was the true hero of S13 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The key and phone call task just encapsulates Briget’s approach to taskmaster perfectly. At one point she has a moment of pure genius by putting the key in her boot. But then it’s like she used too much of her brain to complete the rest of the task and she ends up annoying Alex and lying on the ground aimlessly banging a pot haha!
"Sure, I'm lying on the ground. We can all see that I'm lying on the ground but, _as you know_ , Alex, you told us to keep making noise, so.... * bangs pot. Defiantly. *
@@Tao_Tology She reminds me of a cat: Very determined and intelligent, but will not and possibly cannot focus it towards anything productive for very long (especially if an authority figure expects them to)
I will always consider Bridget's walk in that task to be one of the funniest moments in Taskmaster history... BUUUUUUUUTTTTTT, I totally disagree that it amounts, in the end, to "out-smarting" the task. Not that it ruined the hilarity (I know this is all in fun, after all) but that was a poor excuse for out-smarting a task. For me, "out-smarting" the task should involve working out a legitimate loophole that Alex failed to foresee, not cheap wordplay. You could find cheap wordplay to undermine almost any task. 🤷♂️
@@TroubleToby3040 Literally found the loophole, the task said "Record the highest number on this pedometer" not "Record the highest number of steps on this pedometer".
@@TroubleToby3040 You're right. You can find a loophole for every task. But, it's not you who decides who wins, nor is the best who wins, but comepletely down to the discretion of one man. He can disqualify you just because you looked at him funny.
@@eXponentia Not a loophole. Wordplay. Literally. Literally wordplay. Not "literally" a loophole. Now you know how to use the word literally correctly... You are welcome.
@@TroubleToby3040 You simply dont understand the definition of loophole, but sure, keep being an arrogant ass, and you'll forever be wrong and unable to learn or grow.
As soon as that hat comes on, Bridget goes from lucid to demented. I can't describe it beyond ludicrously silly. One of my favorite contestants to date.
What a woman of contrasts... forgetting how to walk, collapsing in despair while banging on a pot, outsmarting the task with some ingenious thinking, creating what must surely be the most (well, maybe only) genuinely moving moment in Taskmaster history... one of the all time greatest contestants.
Bridget and Greg's dance that makes them look like two hostile birds reluctantly enacting their species' mating ritual is simultaneously glorious and looks like something that wouldn't be out of place in the original The Wicker Man.
I think Judi being able to sing was he only time in the whole series she wasn't bullshitting. Well, that and the fact that she can borrow a dog any time she wants.
@@valerielevasseur8674 How do you even think to say something like that if it isn't true though? Unless the exact opposite is true, and despite all her efforts she's never been able to borrow a dog.
The more I watch this the more I love Bridget. During the shoe task there was a moment where she says 'ok I'll have to go through each one individually again' as she gives Alex a look. She knows he's frustrated with her and she's deliberately messing with him. She's brilliant ❤
“The House Queens… and Bez” is one of the greatest lines in Taskmaster history. For those out of the loop, Bez is a member of British band Happy Mondays who is essentially just in the band as a dancer, and… a wacky one at that
@@paulshuttleworth6261 It's a word that just means "a very large number". I would have gone with a googolplex, since mathematicians actually recognize it and it's cool 😀
I put it to you that so far, there have been 90 total contestants on UK Taskmaster and Alex was more exasperated by Bridget alone than the other 89 combined.
I was stood next to Bridget at a Swans concert in London (brutally loud post-punk) just yesterday, and had to come here to watch this. Can confirm that even to that earsplitting noise, she still dances a lot, and was in total hysterics, sadistically close to one of the bass bins. I was surprised to see her at first, and then the more I think about it, the more sense it makes. Of course she's here.
I need a cut of Alex and Bridget being an old married couple because I've never seen Alex in 15 series have this with anyone else 😂 just the shouting and backbiting, hell even when he complements her, her first reaction is disbelief, then follows it up with "youve never said that before!" And Alex, who in a single sentence gives off the energy of a tired 78 year old man goes "never thought it before.." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's a Lee Van Cleef outfit from the Dollars series. :) Also, all her studio outfits have a western theme to them (except maybe the one from the first recording, I don't know if it really fits the theme)
I love taskmaster as you get to watch comedians you haven't seen before and end up loving them. I think Briget is my favorite example of this she is brilliant.
When the series first started i was sure i would hate her as a contestant, but one of my favourite of all them, the walk thing made me spit out my drink on more than one occasion.
This is the best season. Top of my wish list: a compilation of Alex losing his patience with Bridget. The man is a saint and rarely breaks character but then Bridget came along...
My favorite Bridget Christie moment was during the show-off task where she was told to show off a talent, and then out of nowhere she casually asked Alex “Do you have a gun?” XD
I love Bridget so much. She's ridiculously hilarious. The House Queens 🖤🖤🖤 Also her banter woth Greg is fantastic especially the stopcock bit...so perfect.
Bridget is the contestant whose sanity I most genuinely questioned while watching the show. Honourable mentions to Catherine Parkinson, Sally Phillips, and James Acaster... but yeah, Bridget takes it by a mile. (Not a coincidence these are possibly my 4 favourite contestants.)
Perhaps because her funny gimmicks and her fashion... although a large portion of it might just be because of her appearance... She's my favorite one so far.
"Record the highest number on this pedometer" Can any native english speaker confirm or deny if writing a number ON a pedometer with a marker would technically fulfill the task?
