It's a new series from the author of the popular Thursday Murder Club series , this time featuring a retired detective , Steve Wheeler and his daughter-in-law Amy Wheeler. Amy is protecting a famous author ,Rosie D'Antonio when she discovers that she is also a target and needs help. Amy can only trust one person so asks Steve to help. Thus Steve and Amy find themselves travelling far and wide to discover the identity of a master criminal organising murders and money laundering.
A great effort from Richard Osman , the tale related in a warm , slightly comical manner with murders , intrigue and twists - what's not to like?
