Hi Daniel. Very informative indeed. Loved it. There was so much clarity in your explanations especially ICAO and IATA roles. Beautifullg explained. However i suggest video be renamed as....A brief description of IATA Dangerous Goods Manual 2021.

@@meghanathummala2957 Yes. Category 1 IATA training is for shippers and those performing the responsibilities of the shipper. This includes, but is not limited to, signing the Shipper's Declaration. Of course, more than training is required, you must also be thoroughly familiar with the consignment describe on the Declaration and comfortable with signing the Shipper's Certification.
@@soniasmith1998 That's a good question. Here's my best answer. According to the IATA website, the DGR were first created in 1955. For 2021 we are using the 62nd Edition. Counting back that makes the 1st Edition in 1960.
How do you tell when UN packaging is required by the packaging instruction? Just seeing the words 4G for e.g. in the packaging instruction info is enough?
I have IATA DGR Category 6 exam in some months. The training in Europe we have only 4 days. It is possible to learn all this in short time? I don't have a book. With passing this exam I will get my dream job.
Thank you. The video is a little old (2021) but still provides some useful information. Please contact me if you have any questions about the IATA DGR.

@@sharifaaladawi1568 Cat 10 training is required for flight crew members, loadmasters, load planners, and flight operations officers/flight dispatchers.
You can't learn all of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations in 4-5 days. But I can train you on what you need to know to comply with the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations in 8 hours.
