i have been binging on your channel for days- this is the best source of information about all the countries you cover! I have always wanted to understand these countries and tried books and documentaries but honestly your information is the only one that i can retain and understand with some clarity

Small correction on the last part, the protests arrousing from Dina boluarte's ascencion where very different from teh 2020's one, mostly in the kind of people and the amount of them that participated, by comparison, while 2020's protest was absolutely massive in lima and other cities, the most recent one had a very unnatural and reduced atendance, being more known for the more agresive actions of the protestors, who were mainly peasants and rural folks in very particular southern parts of the nation, who felt represented by castillo, corrupt as he was, and knew nothing of why coups were, well, bad, nor of impeachments, nor any other sort of legal happening, they jsut perceived their " representation" had been done dirty, and a good chunk marched for it. The protest grew dire when attempts to take strategical infraestructure (aka, airport, gas plants, highway, what not), was answered with an unmeasured show of force by the military, with plenty dead. Of course, the sad reality of peru is that a 100 dead in the provinces dosen't even amount to one death in the capital, by comparison, it didn't help that most of the citizenship looked at these protest extremely unfavorly, and took the protestors, no matter who tehy truly were, as mere vandals and thiefs using the pretext to sack and destroy(wich, truth be told, had some base, many a ilegal miner and druglord used the protest to sneakily burn police stations and justice department locals were the registers of their wrogndoings were stored or managed.)
