Brigham City is a city in Box Elder County, Utah, United States. The population was 17,899 at the 2010 census.[5] It is the county seat of Box Elder County. It lies on the western slope of the Wellsville Mountains, a branch of the Wasatch Range at the western terminus of Box Elder Canyon. Brigham City saw most of its growth during the 1950s and 1960s, but has seen a struggling economy and stagnating growth since then. It is near the headquarters of ATK Thiokol, the company that created the solid rocket boosters for the Space Shuttle.
Brigham City is known for its peaches and holds an annual celebration called Peach Days on the weekend after Labor Day. Much of Main Street is closed off to cars, and the festival is celebrated by a parade, a car show, a carnival, and other activities. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) dedicated its fourteenth temple in Utah in Brigham City on 23 September 2012.
The city is the headquarters of the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation, a federally recognized tribe of Shoshone people.

I lived in Brigham City 1979 through 1980 while working at Morton-Thiokol. Your video is the bes of several and only one I really recognize the town. I retired to Panama in 2013, then Ecuador, Nicaragua and the last 4 years Costa Rica. In Brigam I rented a 2 bedroom apartment next to the cotton mill for $190. I now rent a 7 bedroom/5 bath house with 4 car garage on 23 acres for $161 a month rere. I can easily afford traveling Internationally 3 months a year. In 9 days will be spending a month in Mexico. Pura Vida!

Looks much different nearly 40 years later as those trees were certainly a lot smaller. I like slowing it down a bit so the speed is nealy like walking. Great video though.

We're from out of state. Was this actually filmed 3 days ago? We're trying to get an idea of the snow in that area.

Don't know if it will help you now, but winter in Brigham City can be chilly during the day, but not too uncomfortable,. Snow is not usually on the streets unless they get a snow storm / blizzard. Even then, snow gets cleared off the roads rather quickly.

I lived there and still have family there. If I could recommend a few places for you to see it would be the following: 1. Peach City - old style malt shop that has been around forever and is a local treasure there. Make sure to get an old fashioned malt and some of their fries. Look at the video at 13:19 on the right side so you can see what it looks like. 2. Maddox Restaurant - a little pricey, but well worth the extra cost. I've literally had truck drivers that travel the US tell me that they stop there every chance they can. 3. Fruit Row - located south of Brigham City about 3 miles and lasts for a couple of miles. It's basically local fruit stands selling local fruit located just on the side of the road on HWY 89 South (basically watch the video and keep going past the construction barrels). 4. Box Elder Canyon - You can drive through it and there are some walking and bicycle trails that you would really enjoy. If you decide to drive you can continue on to Logan, Utah about 20 miles through mostly mountains. If you decide to go to Logan you might as well go the extra few miles and take a trip through Logan Canyon, it's absolutely amazing. 5. Ogden Canyon - If you end up going to Ogden (about 20 miles south of Brigham City) I would strongly recommend driving through Ogden Canyon. It is a winding road, but it is absolutely worth the drive. Good luck and enjoy your stay there.
