I just want to say how grateful I am that these videos exist. This was one of the most powerful shows I've ever been to... in the third pew of the sanctuary of the FU Church, with maybe 100 people, if that. Conor was shy and nervous, but raw emotion. I cried when he played "Laura Laurent", and I was jealous of his all female band. I left feeling totally speechless. Thank you for preserving this memory!
Such a powerful performance but i cant help but think it's fuelled by some sort of poison. Id love to hear him do it now, now he knows who he is. LOtH is by far the best Bright Eyes album, one i can relate to all too well. This song, Touch, and If Winter Ends should be put onto a cd and named 'This Is What Depression Sounds Like'
