HELP! My second hand walker, apparently hardly used, same brand, appears to be very very similar, in highest position is only 9.75" from floor to bottom of tray in front. The sliding legs can only move 1/3 of the entire slot. The height adjustment thingee is in its most extreme position (back, toward seat). I cannot figure out if this is simply a flaw in this particular walker, or if there's something I can do. It doesn't look like I can do anything. I just measured the distance between the centers of the silver fasteners on the ends of legs (between front and back) while Walker is in highest/most extreme position. It's 15.25". If I measure the CLOSEST distance between the slots along one side of base (front to back), it's about 12". So the legs are not able to " collapse" to 12", only 15.25". I can't help but think that the legs were assembled incorrectly (?). Do you have any suggestions?
