I just got this from Amazon for $95! I'm assembly-challenged but after I figured out that I had to take the screws completely out so that the pole part could rest in the bottom of stand and then the lamp arm do the same in the pole then I was good to go. It is a heavy beast! I love to cross stitch on linen and I'm 66 and have worn glasses my whole life - so this lamp is a Godsend for my eyes! Now I'm thinking of a smaller version for my bedroom. I agree about the oval shape because it does give you a larger field and so it can even be used for reading.
Thanks for your review and 10% discount code. After a lot of research, I decided on this make & model. Because of the pandemic and staying at home, I’m trying new things, like crafts! So I needed a light and magnifier. This will also be a great light for puzzles and game night at the dining room table! Thank you again!
My favorite colors are silver, blue, purplre pink and green all in soft colors. Love all your work and have learned a lot from you. Thank you for the tutorials. Also love your haircut.
Cute haircut! Eggplant and lime green. Thank you for sharing all your talents! I love the lamp and thanks to you, I love the craftoptic glasses too! Thank you!!
I swear I commented earlier but have gone through all comments three times and cannot find it. Wow, You new hairdo is fabulous. I love it. I sure have missed your videos. That is a wonderful light. I would love to win that baby! I adore Teal and Purple together. Welcome back Jill!
I almost gave you a thumbs down because you did not say the price of the lamp but you did link it down below so not too bad. Also, A very good review. And Thank You for the discount code as well! Thank You Again!
Thank you so much for all the awesome videos. The magnifying light looks awesome. My favorite colors to get her are turquoise and salmon / pinks together. They are bright and cheerful. They make me smile.
First time viewer here. I would have liked measurements added as to how high "table height" is. Better yet, is it useful along side a chair for stitching? I also would have liked to see a close up of actual stitching. Thanks for the review.
Love this lamp! Will need to invest in one in the future. My favorite color combination for beading is periwinkle, turquoise and gold. It is very rich and exotic looking.
Hi Jill ! My favorite color combination would be aqua, blue and purple. I can’t get over how great you look!!! Keep your hair short, it is just beautiful.
What a great light and magnifier. How convenient to be able to have it as a desk light magnifier or a floor lamp. Thank you for the review kindest regards from Australia 🐨
I love to use turquoise , azure, emerald green and silver. I’m a beach bum! I love anything that reminds me of the beach. Love the light....would surely save my eyes.
This is really awesome, but a bit too pricey for my budget. Thank you for all you do....your videos are so detailed, easy to follow, and motivating me to push me to higher levels. THANK YOU Jill!
I’ve been using an earlier version of this lamp for a couple years and love it, the best money I’ve ever spent. Mine is identical to this one except it has the round magnifier instead of the elongated which does appear bigger. Mine has two rings of diodes, one ring is warm hue, the other is the cool, the switches allow you to toggle up and down to create the kind of light that works best.
Of course, "thingy" is a technical term. Because I do most of my beading at my kitchen table, it would be nice to have a floor model lamp/magnifier. Thanks, Jill, for sharing the info about this product with us.
Love your review, thank you and Brightech for the discount code and I am getting mine within a week! I bead late into the evening as well and really need the light as well as the magnification!
Went to see the price and it is 103.99. - 15.60 (15%)= 88..39. Give or take a penny. They r charging me 93.60 which looks like 10%. Do we get 15 or 10 % off. Did I do something wrong to Only get 10%. Will wait for a response before buying.
I like using the color palette of oranges and yellows. The colors of yellow and orange work year around by adding brown hints (beads) for fall/winter or green (beads) for spring/summer. The hint of brown can be added for more of winter theme (burnt orange) or a yellow (brown and yellow become golden). The yellow and orange combined with green equal summer hues. Senior that needs light and magnification ... 50th anniversary in July of 2020. Yes, I'm bragging about our golden anniversary! ;)
Have to say I just LOVE your hair!!! Great review. I am always on the look out for a light/magnification set up. I want the optix glasses, but that's a wish list item for now. I have a similar set up from a well known company, but never end up using the magnification, only the light, because I can't get it down where I want it (I use this in bed, too!) With the way this moves and the light turns... Oh so much better. And this is in my price range. Thank you so much!
Hi Jill! This is awesome giveaway! I love working all your terrific tutorials. I am partial to all shades of purple, which is fine, but when you want to wear something to match an outfit, I am not always wearing purple. 😊
Jill, this light has been on my Amazon wishlist for months! It would be wonderful to receive it as gift from you. Although I use many colors in my beadwork, my absolute favorites are black and white. In another life, I must have lived around zebras! Now I just have black and white dogs and cats! P.S., love the new hairstyle. It makes me want to go back to my short hair.
After watching this video I decided this is just what these "older" eyes needed. Used your discount link but didn't find any magnifying lamps. Apparently they are now on their Amazon seller page. The discount code won't work so I contacted the company. Apparently the code has expired and is only good to use on their website directly. So the link above is no good. Needless to say I was very disappointed.
OOOOOH that would help me so much, Wish I had the money for it :( .. I wouldn't need to hold my work so close. I can't see with my glasses on at all and I have to hold it so close to me it hurts my neck and shoulders. Thanks for the review ;)
Great "cover" on the fallen earring! Lol! This looks like a great lamp. I'll check it out. I've been very pleased w/ the lamps I get at Harbor Freight. Never have cared for the "competitor's" lites... too pricey and trendy. Thanks for the review, Jill. And your haircut is precious!
I’ve never entered how to win something and I’m not sure where you want me to post my favorite color combo so I will do it here. It’s purple and peridot.
Hi Jill, thanks for the great giveaway! Love your videos. They are always so full of information but done with great personality so enjoyable to watch. I have been working with different combinations of mauves, greens and beiges. Here's hoping!😊
hey jill, im new to stitches and I fell in love with beaded crochet. so my question is ,is thre any stitches that gives a similiar result of beaded crochet? without crochet because crocheting is stressing me out😂😂
I absolutely live your new do!!! It is so flattering!!! I just got my hair cut extremely short and wax initially upset. A week later I'm loving it and am so glad because on my own I would have been to chicken. Oh! The lamp is realer nice especially for this old fart. Pick me! Pick me!! Pick me!!!!!!
This is my second comment. It seems my first comment has disappeared from the page. I would love to win the magnifying lamp to bead using one of my favorite color combos of copper and purple. ☺️
