This aint europe and eruope is lagging the US .. Stop trying to make what is in europe in america because if it worked that well then eruope would be a greater infrastructure than the US which it aint... europe has no choice but to have better public transportation since most cant afford their own private transportation and has to walk
@@frontrowviews It's not really though... lol A cheapo flight on Spirt from Miami to Orlando is like, $50. And if you have a family of 2 or more, it's absolutely cheaper to drive. And it's not like you're going to get off the train and walk everywhere. You'll need a cab/uber/bus which will raise the price. It's not a good deal for the majority of people that would be traveling.
@@OneNewHopeTrue, but it’s a way better experience, and Brightline is targeting buisness and leisure travellers, who’ve got the money, and don’t care about the cost, this is not mass transit.
@@OneNewHope yeah I agree if you travel with a family it is inconvenient. But for 1-2 person trips I think it has better value. No security, no real boarding times, and you get dropped off in the middle of Miami and right at Orlando airport which is really convenient. And prices do fluctuate according to day of the week and the time of departure
I dunno, West Palm, Ft Lauderdale, and Miami are pretty walkable areas around the stations, plus Brightline offers complimentary shuttles to and from stations if you book premium (though I’m aware it’s pretty pricey). Going TO Orlando is gonna be interesting though, it’s not exactly walkable from the airport, but we’ll definitely see how it plays out; though considering Brightline recently had its first operational profit not too long ago, I don’t think there’s anything to worry about in terms of ridership.
@@techtutorvideos Vacationers (which will be a majority of the riders) will not be a fan of lugging the luggage onto, off busses and then walking with it any distance. Especially with all those kids in tow.
@@MarioYoshi4723 Actually, Orlando has some public transport that often people don’t know about. I took the city bus from Orlando airport to the local city train to get to Winter Park and another time. I took the city bus directly from Orlando airport for only about two dollars to get to International Drive to go to a theme park.
