Those 2 touches and the way he flicked the ball into goal using the same foot was amazing. But what's even more impressive is his composure to do all that, in a crowed area with all red shirts around him, in the dying minutes of a cup tie. Wow.....just wow.
@@abhisheksinha8266 you cant be seeing all this and then saying he has 5yrs to reach sonny levels, i agree sonny is a superstar but have some respect please
Sadly it won't be efficient to get him as you e already 2 amazing left wingers. You'd need cover for Saka now on the right. Btw I hope you lot get Caicedo
@@ucbrowser2447 Brighton are a really well-run club with great scouts and coaches. They lost Bissouma in the summer…no problem! Caicedo came to the fore in midfield. Caicedo told to take a break to clear his mind…no problem! Mac Allister and Groß ran the midfield against Liverpool. Also, Estuninian has ably replaced Cucurella at left back…same on the left wing with Mitoma replacing Trossard. De Zerbi has also ensured that they hardly miss Potter. May they continue to thrive in the years to come.
Seriously, that first touch is the first I've ever seen. First, he trapped a high ball with the OUTSIDE of his foot. That I've never seen but he also trapped it on the way down right before it hit the ground. Another I've never seen. Then, he had the ball towards the goal so he would have an immediate shot with his right foot. Pretty amazing. I'm wondering if it's luck or he meant all of it.
@@morninglift1253 u need to know that his uni thesis is abt the art of dribbling or something similar to that topic and he has researched several amazing dribblers, so he might actually applies them to his dribbling skill
That was such a lovely finish by Mitoma. Really smart to have resisted the first-time shot and waited for the defender to turn his back towards the ball.
That is why I blame Gabriel for the man city goal he keeps turning his back to the ball like defenders need to stop doing that just put your body in the way and look at what the forward go do next then make your move to stop him from advancing
That celebration from mitoma is breath taking man. Imagine scoring to make it 2-1 against Liverpool the reigning champions and then running to the sideline, The fans going crazy, the adrenaline, the wind in your hair. Bros living the dreams
I'm a Liverpool fan but I've got to say that winning goal could grace any match. Fantastic touch to bring it down, a second tough to bamboozle the defence before a quick 3rd touch to flick it into the net. A goal of the season contender for me.
@@TrXvX2 Liverpool is a mediocre team for past many years except Jurgen Klopp era and some luckily win UCL trophies.. Liverpool is adopting its originality that is mediocrity and another PL trophy in 31 years.
I love to watch Japanese players playing. Their style is so unique, they’re usually very technique yet very passionate and bold at the same time. I was hoping Arsenal sign Mitoma when they were looking for forward before Trossard.
@@aclark903 really? Last time I checked football is a team sport. Try again! By your silly logic, Messi beat the whole Croatian team last time they played.
When I saw Mitoma doing what he is doing today in the Japanese league three years ago, I had no doubt that he could become a world leader, but I did not expect it to happen so soon. 3年前に日本のリーグで今日のようにかつやくする三笘を見て、間違いなく世界のトップになれると思ったが、こんなにも早く実現してくれるとは…
I'm glad they showed the Mitoma goal from a bunch of angles. That really was beautiful. They all thought he was going to pelt it and had no chance. Astonishing.
Brighton's scouting team needs their flowers for consistently getting transfers right. As a whole Brighton is arguably the best run club in the world. Mad respect to them
Mitoma's touch and finish was brilliant but I'm impressed by the free kick co-ordination. I don't think it's an accident that there are Brighton players blocking the Liverpool player getting near the player with the ball in both phases of the move. Very clever.
I agree! Mitoma said the free kick co-ordination was RDZ's tactics and players practiced that before. It was like screen play of basket ball, fantastic!!
Newcastle supporter here, absolutely loving where Brighton are at the minute! Absolutely class play and mitoma is a baller, one of the few clubs I get nervous to watch us play against, well done!
Kaoru Mitoma must be a bargain of the century for a prem club for what he has achieved! What a sensation the Japanese superstar is! I Really wish he get more respect from the media because because he a a far better talent than son scoring in more important matches but he is still overlooked .
Everyone talking about Mitoma who's goal was absolutely amazing and who was bombing up and down the wing but no one is talking about Lamptey in that match, honestly he took that game by the scruff of his neck and his defensive work was phenomenal today. He is bound for a huge money move soon, no doubt in my mind.
Salah scored 40 goals in his first season, many of them not far off Mitoma's in quality, helping Liverpool get to the final of the *Champion's League.* Hence, the acclaim. And he has been in the running for the ballon d'or a few times, now. HTH.
