Nice video RIP GWR trains to Brighton. Although the speaker quality at Brighton is very poor quality and not easy to hear, but great to hear the Gatwick Express back in services there is talk of them stopping at Haywards Heath as well. Hopefully next year when the redevelopment is completed you could do Gatwick Airport.
@@Parallel395 I did see a video of Gatwick Airport dated 2014 and she did say "First Geat Western" when Anne and Mike was there prior to the replacement they didn't say that. I wish they could replace those speakers there its alsmost poor quality as that of York and Ilford.
@@jamiehooper5328 True. I think they could do with some tower speakers like Manchester Piccadilly and London Paddington have for the concourse area rather than 4 small old horn speakers. Also TfW have installed Ruth and Eryl announcements at Barry
@@Parallel395 yes I think so too or the speakers that Reading and Bristol Temple Meads have outside. That's good news that Ruth and Glyn have been installed at Barry. There's a new station going to be built on the Cardiff bay line called Buetown and Cardiff bay will regain Platform 2. Hopefully Glyn and Ruth will be used at Buetown when it opens.
I saw a weird article with staff "celebrating" not-quite-100 (90-something) years of the service, it was very odd. Now, passengers will have to change, great!
