I have seen some pretty elaborate ones that are kind of overkill for what I need. All I'm doing is maybe processing a few pounds of ground meat? I use some latex gloves so everything stays clean and sanitary. Clean-up is quick...with a few drops of dish soap, I wash the gloves, and the patty-maker rinse dry and put away. Takes up very little space. I like using something ongoing that I might otherwise discard.
Something oddly satisfying hearing the crackling paper and seeing the perfectly formed circles of beef created. I can almost taste the future hamburger 🍔. Thanks for the great video.
I like that idea! I've been using a ring from a canning jar lid and ring. Lay the ring, top side up, on a plate. Fill with hamburger and then lift off the ring. There's no adjustability in my method. It's either a regular mouth or a wide mouth ring. With your method, select the container size to match the size burger you want to make. Thanks for sharing.
Why can’t you roll it out like you’re making cookies and so it’s just stays at a certain height that you want. And then find a container about the size of the burger you want like a small cottage cheese container and keep rolling it I think that would do great.
