I’ve had my kvidio headphones for about 5 months. And I LOVE THEM. The only thing that bugs me is the headphone say “Battery low” until they die. It always bugs me and I hate it. I always charge them right away because of that.
Ive been using these headphones for about a year a now and they are my main headphones and the 60 hour play time is amazing for my very busy schedule who needs music 24/7 lolz
I'm glad the video was helpful and you are liking your new headphones too! I'm actually going to be reviewing the newer version of these with Active Noise Cancellation this week, but I find the seal so good on these ones, that it already blocks out most ambient noise without needing ANC.
Glad to hear they're still going strong Cameron. Btw, I also reviewed their newest model if you're ever interested in replacing yours: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vDLBZlqp_QQ.html
These are amazing. The sound quality is definitely fantastic. Like you I listen at a high volume. Given my age, you'd think I'd know better. Thinking of getting a second pair for my travel kit. Great fit and comfortable to wear. Can't go wrong for $25 bucks. Thanks for the review
Hey trini938, yep these are great value for the price and the battery life is amazing too. They have a new ANC version that I'm going to review soon, but these are still solid if you don't care about ANC. Thanks for watching!
Hiya again! It arrived an hour ago and tried it with some hardbass russian music. The quality is really fine compared to the price a bit blurry, tho. Also, if you want to listen to harsh rock or techno music, the sound leakage will start at 65% of the volume. That's all also. Thanks for your great video it helped me a lot to decide
Yep, it's great to find headphones with great value that still deliver on proper sound. I'm going to be reviewing their new ANC model in the next couple of weeks or so, but unless you need ANC, these are still a wonderful option. Thanks for watching my video speed triple rider!
Yea, they really are for the price. I can't live without the multi-function now. Btw, they released a new model with active noise cancellation. The ANC isn't that aggressive, but the sound quality is definitely improved. You can check it here if you ever need to replace this first generation: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vDLBZlqp_QQ.html Thanks for watching 🙂
I have this headphone and i have it for 1 year and more i recommend to buy it and you get a alot of bass its better then airpods pro 2 already try it so yeah i recommend to buy it.
Yea it really is a great value for the sound quality. They have a newer version, which I also reviewed that improved the sound, but the price is more, so this model is still the best value.
Hi Gabrielle, I'm glad the review was helpful 🙂 You will enjoy it. I'm going to be reviewing the newest version of these in a week or 2, which has Active Noise Cancellation, but honestly, the seal on the ones you ordered is so good, it already blocks out most ambient noise. Which color did you get by the way?
@@gabrielle1915 Hey Gabrielle, sorry this took way too long, but the video about the ANC version is now up here if you are still interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MGXeTPP7zN0.html Btw, how have your headphones been holding up so far in terms of build quality and battery life?
As long as the TVs support Bluetooth you should be fine. If the TVs don't support Bluetooth, then you'll have to buy a Bluetooth Receiver that plugs into the 3.5mm AUX port.
@@danielguertin9664 Sounds like a plan. Just keep in mind that some of those receivers do introduce some latency, so you might notice that the audio may not 100% sync when you look at the lips and people are speaking. I didn't notice any noticeable latency with these headphones, but if they are combined with another layer (BT receiver), then it may occur.
Hey Giovanny, the microphone works good enough to take and make calls, but it isn't the best sounding microphone out there. Thanks for watching my video 🙂
Hi t, the KVIDIO headphones do not come with an app. It uses Bluetooth Profiles: A2DP, AVRCP, HFP. Between this and the Philips UH202 headphones, these are so much better sounding. The battery life is also very impressive on these, and I find them more comfortable also.
Thanks for the confirmation Oso Tries! I also reviewed their newest model, which is a good step up in audio quality if you ever need to replace these: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vDLBZlqp_QQ.html
Hey Cristian, I think you'll be able to wear them for around 2 to 3 hours before you start to notice them. I wear them with glasses on and I can wear them for around that much time before I start to notice it. If you think you have a slighter larger head, then I would look at bigger headphones with more cushion or padding.
I’ve just got home from the gym and realised I’d left my headphones in my cousin’s car and cause I’m an impatient child I couldn’t just ask him to pass them back so I ordered these instead 😂 they look great
@@DemCrumblies They were called JBL TUNE510BT headphones, they were Bluetooth ones as well, I think after your review of these headphones though the JBL ones will be my spare pair from now on 😂
@@ChrisManley1994 Oh yea, I've seen those go on sale a couple of times on Amazon. Let me know how it compares to the KVIDIO when you get it. I'm curious to see if it's better, similar or less capable to the JBLs.
Thanks for watching Chris 🙂 I'm actually working on a review of their new ANC version. Sound quality is definitely a step up from these first generation headphones, but ANC isn't that aggressive if ANC is really important.
Hey ccagle, I haven't used the Doqaus Care 1 sorry. However, there is a new ANC version of these headphones that I did a follow-up review on, which has improved sound and battery life: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MGXeTPP7zN0.html
Hey Megatron! Yep, they sent me the new version to review, but I've been working on finishing up some other reviews before I can get to it. Definitely has a more premium look than the first generation though.
@@DemCrumblies There's also another company selling similar low cost headphones called the BERIBES. I don't know which is better. I've been looking at both.
@@Megatron-sl5us Yep, that brand and Uliptz have come up in my searches on Amazon too, but not sure how they compare. Specs seem similar, not sure if they have multi-point though.
Kvideo released another headphones that can run up to 80 hours. It looks higher quality. It's going for $30 to $50. Maybe you could review it? KVIDIO Active Noise Cancelling Headphones.
Hey Alias Anybody, they only support A2DP, AVRCP, HFP & SBC. In developer options under BT settings on my android phone, I can only select SBC, all other options like AAC and apt-x are not selectable.
Hey @arifa, there is pretty much no music leakage with these headphones. Even at MAX volume, the seal that it creates around your ears is so good that no one can tell when I listen at max volume. Btw, I will be reviewing the upgraded version of these, which have ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), but due to how well these already block out ambient sounds due to the seal, I think most people may not even need the ANC version of these.
@@kemelily_x That's interesting because it creates a pretty good seal around the sides of my face. Can people hear it around you even when the volume is halfway? I'm going to be reviewing the newer version of these headphones, which has ANC, so I'll try to pay more attention to the sound leakage on the new ones.
Hiya! Does it have any sound leakage? Imma buy it in a day or two for 27 cad. Want to use it on the bus will it allow me to listen to high volume music and dont annoy people? Also, I've seen many people say that Bluetooth gets worse over time. Did you experience the same thing? Thanks mate!
Hey there, there is definite sound leakage with these. I was using these as my daily drivers for about 6 to 7 months straight and they were great without any Bluetooth issues, but I switched to other headphones and earbuds, so I didn't use it heavily enough to say if the Bluetooth will get worse, sorry.
@DemCrumblies perfect, thanks! Just watched another video of yours that said below 66% volume it didn't have sound leakages. Was that about KVWH201? How loud can I listen to music without it leaking? Thanks for your information!
@@maybe-daniel7859 So with this model in a very quiet room, at 40% volume, I hear sound leakage when I put it on the mannequin head. However, if you'll be on a bus which are fairly loud and with lots of ambient noise, you can probably put it to 50% to 60% without bothering someone who is sitting in nearby seat.
Just an fyi.. alot of folks may be aware..but for those that aren't.. just purchase a type C to 3.5 mm dongle for about $5 for those phones w/o dedicated 3.5 port.. 🙂
Hey Fowl Man, great tip! I've seen those on AliExpress and Amazon, but never thought about mentioning it. Thanks for that. I will be reviewing the updated version of these with ANC in the next couple of weeks, so I'll be sure to mention it.
These definitely get loud enough, but there's no ANC and there is sound leakage when listening to it at higher volumes. Are you looking for something with ANC btw?
Do you know how to factory reset these headphones? I switched my headphones off and they just wouldn't turn on after that, I even tried charging it but the red light wouldn't turn on. Do you know whats wrong?
Hey @kristi6083, try this "Please hold the "-" and middle button at the same time for 5 seconds to clear the devices connected." Then try to pair them back to your phone. If they won't turn on at all even after charging them for a long time, they may be dead or the battery is dead.
Yes, you can definitely use it for calls. I tested it out and the other party said the audio sounded fine and it was easy to make out what I was saying. They didn't mention any background noise issue.
Hmm that's strange. Is this when listening to music, or with phone calls or both? What happens if you try to pair the headphones with a different phone or your laptop or PC? Same issue?@@RockiestRoom2

Hey Valerio, yep, the sound and mic work perfectly fine on my Windows computer. Btw, there is a new model with slightly longer battery life and increased sound performance if you're interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vDLBZlqp_QQ.html Both are equally solid options and you can't beat the price on this first generation. Thanks for watching 🙂
Hey Fort Canucks, it can definitely pair with your computer. I have it paired with my laptop and phone. Try this: 1) Turn off Bluetooth on your phone first (not necessary, but may make it easier for you) 2) Go into Bluetooth on your computer and select the option to scan / add a new Bluetooth device 3) Press AND HOLD down the power button until you hear it say "Power On", then "Pairing" (Lights will be flashing red and blue quickly) 4) Select WH201A on your computer to pair and that should be it. Let me know how it goes.
HI,Fort, I am the seller of the headphones. maybe because you connected the earphone to the phone first so the bluetooth is occupied. because if the earphone is connected to another device, then it wouldn't be connected to the second at the same time. Here is how to address this: please hold the "-" button and multi-function button at the same time for 5 seconds. this is to clear the devices connected. next you can connect it to the computer and switch between those 2 devices.
Hey Carlos, when you press and hold down the power button, it will flash the LED lights to put it into pairing mode. Once you see the flashing lights, scan for Bluetooth devices on your phone. Let me know how it goes.
Hard to say, almost sounds like the battery is going on it. How long have you had it? I would try to contact KVIDIO support to see what they recommend.
I have not experienced this YET... but I saw something somewhere, that my TV might not want to pair with a second set of earphones.... WHY, I ask.... There are two us that can't hear well... why my Samsung Sound bar does not work well is a big disappointment.
Hey sonofben, once you have the headphones powered on and paired to your phone by Bluetooth, long pressing the buttons should increase or decrease the volume when you hold them down. Are you using these with Bluetooth, or plugged in by the 3.5 mm headphone jack? Either way, it should work the same way.
@@DemCrumblies i used them plugged in. my headphones just arrived, so it was dead. i have them charging right now. good to know the volume buttons would work once the headphones are powered on and that there's nothing wrong with them. anyway, thank you for your reply
@@sonofben9766 Wow yea you're right. I just tried and the only way I can adjust the volume is by adjusting the volume on my laptop. I'll see if I can reach out to the company and find out why that is.
It works great! When connected to two devices, if I get an incoming call, it prioritizes the audio from the incoming call so you can accept or reject the call. When I turn the headphones off and back on, it connects to both devices again, but it connects to the 2nd paired device first, then the first paired device last. Not sure if it's programmed to prioritize connections that way, or if it just connects randomly. I tried it twice, and both times it connected to the device I paired 2nd.
Had these for about a year but recently the Bluetooth has been failing. Disconnecting and reconnecting. Have tried all troubleshooting. It's definitely the headphones because other headphones stay connected. Shame because they were really good.
Yes, I also use them on my PC. If you're on Windows, go to your Bluetooth settings. Click on Add Bluetooth device and pick the first option, then press and hold down the power button on your headphones until you see the LED flashing red and blue, then go back to your Bluetooth settings on your PC, and you will see WH201, click on that to connect. Let me know how it goes.
@@DemCrumblies unfortunately, it doesn't seem like it's connecting to my PC. it's not showing up when i try to search for a bluetooth device. i don't even know if my PC has bluetooth, because the bluetooth ON/OFF switch isn't there at the top of the "Bluetooth and other devices" settings. luckily, the box comes with a wire to connect the headphones to my PC, but i was really hoping to use them wirelessly. any idea of what i should do?
@@aqibzaman6543 Ah ok. If you want to add Bluetooth functionality to your PC, it's pretty easy and cheap because you can buy a Bluetooth USB adapter. Let me know which country you're in and I can try to link to one. They are usually under $10 to $15 USD. Even cheaper if you buy it from AliExpress or a similar site.
It should always be automatically available when an app needs to use it or when you make a phone call. If you can't make calls with it, please go into your Bluetooth settings and ensure that all options are enabled for it in the Bluetooth options, such as options for calls and music/audio.
Hmm, if it's only playing out of the left side it sounds as if it is damaged. Does it only play out of the left side when it's connected to any device? Not just your phone? You can try to press and hold the "-" button and middle button at the same time for 5 seconds to clear the devices connected, then try to connect or pair again for the first time to see if that helps.
@@DemCrumbliesit wasn’t connecting to my phone or laptop at all but when I used the wire to connect it to my laptop then it was only playing out of the left side
@@DarceyMarrs-Williams I would let it completely die, charge it for a few hours, then try to reset it with the steps in my previous comment. If that doesn't work, then you probably have to replace it. You can try to contact KVIDIO to see if they can help you out too or maybe offer a discount on a replacement model.
Does it ever show 100% when you fully charge it? Or does it lose all charge right after? Have the headphones ever been completely dead for a long time?
@@DemCrumblies it doesn’t charge at all. i decided to put it on charge at around 50% percent. after that, i kept it on charge for around 4 hours but the percentage went down and won’t go back up. i only bought these a couple of days ago
You played music out of the headset.. into a mic... then the audio plays back for us on our sound equipment, is that right? Why even?! Now if you'd have sampled the mic for us, that would have been useful and without the multiple devices affecting the sample.
Hey MarleneSB, I think you're referring to 5:02 seconds into the video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lTvy9MIWz9Q.html I was trying to demonstrate how the sound from the earcups sounds, so I placed the mic near the earcups to capture the audio to hopefully give an idea of the sound clarity, if there were any cracks or distortions at max volume. I don't normally review headphones, but if you can help me understand what you mean by if I sampled the mic, it can help me with future reviews. Thanks.
Try this "Please hold the "-" and middle button at the same time for 5 seconds to clear the devices connected." Then try to pair them back to your phone. Let me know how it goes.
@@DrawsbyDonnie This should be the full manual to try the steps to clear records and to put it in pairing mode. If none of that works, I think you have to contact KVIDIO support and ask them what else you can try: manuals.plus/kvidio/wh201a-wireless-headphones-manual
If the battery is completely dead and you don't see any LED lights when you are trying to charge it, unfortunately you will have to buy a new unit because the battery is not user replaceable.
Yea there is definitely sound leakage past medium volume. I also reviewed their newest version of these headphones, and they also had some sound leakage too.
Right off you talk about the type C charging cable which will not accept the type C cables you find every where else, I know because I have this problem of wanting to install a magnetic connector which it will not accept, unlike my blaro set that will. Also you are in hyper mode, to much coffee and no time to make a video.
Hi Dave, it does accept type C connectors, and it does take magnetic connectors. I tested it with the magnetic snap-on type C connectors from Essager, and it charges just fine. If I speak too quickly, you can adjust the playback speed on the video to a lower rate by clicking the Settings or Gear icon and adjusting the speed there.
Lol I hear you, but no way to stop it. I think in their newer model it just beeps to let you know it's at max volume, but we're stuck with it on this model.
I have not experienced this YET... but I saw something somewhere, that my TV might not want to pair with a second set of earphones.... WHY, I ask.... There are two us that can't hear well... why my Samsung Sound bar does not work well is a big disappointment.
Yes, many TVs do not support simultaneous Bluetooth pairing because most users will just set up a single Bluetooth speaker or soundbar. Btw, you can try something like this product: geni.us/Rx7tbYQ (Affiliate Link). I have not used it before, but the reviews seem decent enough that it could be an option.
