they shouldn't allow that at dancing compositions bc with little kids they do get distracted. they should make sure like judges and stuff say you have be quite like how they do at certain games

My question is, although they were just doing a quick run thru and not dancing full out, why would you even run the risk of ANY if your dance moves in front of other teams sitting in the stands. We are already well aware of certain coaches who will remain nameless who happen to be str8 plagiarizers.... Couldn't they have gone somewhere in private to practice???

Its called a run through for the TRANSITIONS every competition allows the teams to practice their transitions on the floor where they will be performing.. just to fill it out. Example your dance studio can be way smaller than where they will be competing.. so that's the point. The gym is way bigger so thats what the run through is for.. not so much the moves it's about the transitions and the spacing of the performance. The have to spread out... And that takes practice. If they don't atleast have a idea on how far they are supposed to spread out from one another it can be a mess..

@@slimpretty4life you obviously didn't understand my question. I know what the routine is called & the importance of "spreading out." It was actually rhetorical question in reference to WHY they would run the risk of another team seeing their stands right before competition by doing their "run thru" out in the open.... I've seen them at other schools using classrooms where they actually did their "run thru" in private 🙄

Because they need to fill the spaces and even if the other team saw it they can’t change their routine. This is like an hour before the competition starts not enough time to still someone work and out it in urs. Plus since their not doing it full out u can’t tell what their planning on doing move wise. And if someone magically could do it they would get disqualified cause it would be obvious.

I think it that problem was that the Memphis teams were being distraction but the dancing dolls were allowing themselves to be distracted. I don't think it was the other teams fault I think it was the Dancing Dolls. Not trying to be rude or start drama.
