yeah maybe because people who don't actually like deathcore and whatever they did before may like this, getting it on the top 10, but it doesn't mean it's one of their best. It all depends on point of views

Chancelor Collins suicide season is my second fav and third is there is hell believe me ive seen it from thats the spirit there are not many that i adore but avalanche is pretty good from that album
I'm still a fan no matter what BMTH got me through some very difficult times in my life. But people have to realize that consistent screaming is hell on your vocal cords. Maybe Oli toned it down to save his voice so he can keep singing.

A lot of people are hating on the change of style but they've stated several times that people change, the things they like change, so if their taste in music changed then obviously they'll focus on making music that appeals to them and makes them happy. So if that's not metal core then you should respect their decision and it you don't like it, then stop listening. No one is forcing you.

BMTH has never been heavy metal. This is a pop rock song, but pop rock is also a great subgenre. Not everything has to be heavy, electronic and pop rock rules.

Listening to this just takes me back to when i saw then in September. They played this song live and holy shit, even though this song gets a lot of hate, everyone was screaming the lyrics. It was so energetic and was thrilling to experience.
What a fitting song to end their royal hall concert with. Even more fitting for me - struggling with depression and alcohol abuse - on my way to crawl out of the void and reading the comments im so glad im not the only one that grew up with this band struggling and finding a way out thanks to them.

Bro, I've been loving this track since I first heard it back in 2015 and still does for now too. As for the feeling associated with it, it does has that melancholic undertone in it's lyrics especially after the sax bit all the way to the end.

My band was performing this at our highschool reunion and singing 3:27 onwards with the audience feels friking amazing, everyone can’t stop jumping after the drum solo my head exploded i had goosebumps oh man that has to be the best moment of my life.
I am pretty sure that box baby thing is a ginseng root, which sells for at least 2k a pound in Asian countries if grown right. I think It's a metaphor for how expensive the music industry is and how rare it is to find music like this (in the context of this video) because a ginseng root of that size could be worth thousands of dollars.
Why do I love this so much? What the hell? There's no screaming. There's no soaring guitar solo. Wish I could agree I’m 29 doesn’t feel better after 16 years of depression heart break I realized my best times were in junior high. years of chasing happiness thru drugs and lieing to myself. Closing my self off. Im clean now for a while. But it hurts to look at myself knowing I’m 30 no friends no one to talk too, No happiness,wasted most my twenties away on drugs. An all my best decisions got me here. Just so disappointing.
So true, this starts happening in our later twenties, but, we see addiction hit it’s ugly head full swing in our 30’s… I see it in some people I very much used to love who have been lost to their addiction
So back from 2012-2015 I was with this guy who is known since we were 10 years old and I watched him choose drugs and partying over me and everything else in his life. This album from start to end literally describes my experience and for that; I am thankful. This album put into poetic words exactly how I felt at every stage. From the realization that we were “doomed” to still “following him through hell” He’s in prison now unfortunately but I think it saved his life. Thank you BMTH for this absolute piece of beautiful art. You’ve given me a sort of diary piece to hold o to forever to remember that life is about more than whatever you’re facing right now.
It's amazing that no matter how much the band has gone through so many changes in their song styles during this time, they continue to expand the lyric part of their songs in particular, Oliver is really a poet when it comes to writing and putting his feelings into his songs None of your work here has been in vain. each of his albums always ready to surprise, regardless of how it would be done to the public

I honestly had to come back and listen to this whole album and realize that they pretty much prepared us for the switch in their sound. This song kind of reminds me of them breaking free of that image that they were having to obtain to remain successful but now they finally made it. They can make music how they want and feel legendary doing it. And now going back and listening to the new album I get a completely different perspective

This song has a special memory.. I went to see BMTH with Underoath and Beartooth in 2017 in Toronto. I am a HUGE fan of Underoath and was mainly hyped to see them that it really didn't even occur to me that I was about to see BMTH as well.. turns out that I knew EVERY BMTH song they played that night except for this one which they played during the encore.. it was the FIRST time I ever heard it. To this day it still SLAPS.. what a beautiful song. One of my faves. Thank you BMTH.

sad truth....i'm not even upset about it. I bought their debut cd when it came out back in like 06' and I have everything since then including their vinyls. This new stuff is the most approachable for new listeners.

I love this song. I wish I had really listened to this band in high school when they were dropping this stuff. Would’ve helped a lot. It makes me feel sad but happy. I reminisce on life when I was younger when it plays no matter what mood I’m in. This band all around is one of the best to do it.
