Hospital for souls is absolutely FUCKED. The beat drop after the speech, the lyrics about what you're being told in therapy, the 2 minutes of him repeating "hold me close don't let go, watch me" while he sings so beautifully. I swear that song is absolutely insane to me. Spent too many nights staring at my wall while listening to this song it's so freaking good
I’ve been waiting for this day. This is still my favorite album of all time. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Still got bands trying to recreate the feel of this album to this day.
If you haven't seen it before I'd highly recommend reacting to live performances of their songs Doomed, Shadow Moses, Can You Feel My Heart played at the Royal Albert Hall. You enjoyed Shadow Moses? Now imagine how that song would sound with a full orchestra and choir behind it. Videos of all songs performed can be found on RU-vid but only Doomed was officially released on BMTH's channel if I remember correctly.
@@ashlenamusic That's correct. Two songs are used from their album you're listening to next. 6 songs from Sempiternal and 8 songs from That's the spirit. The amazing thing about this live performance is not that this Orchestra and Choir are just preforming along but the band actually composed new versions of the songs that incorporates the Orchestra and Choir.
I just watched (and loved) all of your Bring Me reactions, but I'm commenting because you mentioned you enjoy symphony in metal songs. Have you heard of Blackbriar? They're a Dutch band, and the lead singer, Zora, has the ACTUAL voice of a siren. If you haven't heard of them, I recommend their album "A Dark Euphony" This album is symphonic metal at its finest imo, and their lyrics are based off of many old fairytales, myths, and folklore, which makes it more intriguing😁
So, I discovered them during high school. It was right when Sempiternal came out. And I did listen to them for comfort. Weird as it seems. Something about Oli's voice felt like being hugged, despite the lyrics being quite dark. Eventually, I drifted away from them, because I started to listen to other various artists. So it was difficult to keep up with everything and everyone. It wasn't until this year I started to listen, and I'm falling in love with them again. Its like reuniting with an old friend.
Thanks so much for doing these reactions and putting so much effort in releasing them as soon as you can just because we're all so impatient and excited!! I love seeing you discover this band and remember my first reactions to the albums. I can't hear them for the first time again, but seeing other people do makes me happy. Appreciate you so much. :) Really excited for the next albums and especially the Royal Albert hall live..
Thanks for struggling with the edit to get this out. Remains one of favourites as it's the album that made me pay attention to them as a band and want to hear more..and more.
This album is a milestone in the rock metal scene. There is a before and a after this album. P.S i think the you will love the live at Royal Albert Hall!
Sad this has had to be so hacked down. But really appreciate the effort you made to get it out. May pay a 1 off to listen and see the full reaction. As much as i love the older stuff, this inc, you cant get away from how much you can tell that he's made huge improvements on his vocals.(Nex gen). Imagine how good this would sound with his vocal ability now. But the rawness of his vocals adds to the heavy side too. And only gets heavier the further bk you go. Think you'll love there is a hell. Super heavy with orchestra mixed in. It's so epic. It never ends is my fave track.😜. But The song Don't go hits so hard. And you can tell with his vocals its a deep meaningfull song too. True story aswell. You really need to do a deep dive into that song for sure. Heartbreaking. Honestly think thats 1 of the reasons he never sings it live. this and a few others feature the band lights. Which are an amazing addition imo.
Awww so welcome! Sucks I had to edit it down so much! But yeah his voice is soooo good now but I love his voice in this album too. Can’t wait to see them live
28:06 the song "crooked young" i only find one live video, and its from a fan cam. i mean this song is so straight forward, and oli dont want any problems with the fans who have believes. well.... they still play the house of wolves tho in their set list until now (maybe)
finished watching all ur bring me reactions. kinda funny that you hated amo bc we all did at first listen tbh. ure gonna love that album one day i know it. first listen? ew second listen? hmm??? third listen? singin along . and i know ure gonna love there is a hell. that album is a piece of art and doesnt get enough credit. but ure a woman with ✨taste✨ so i look forward to see u lovin it
@@ashlenamusic omg girl😭 i wonder what is in that amo water that has the same effect in all of us 😭 guess we just rlly need oli to scream in our ears that it's hard to swallow when he doesn't
the urge to go back on patreon for the fully unedited video 🫠 I was awake last night when I saw this uploaded but my gf was asleep next to me and I knew I would be jamming too hard to watch quietly next to her 😂 LETS GOOO
Can you feel my heart might have insane numbers nowadays, but before the pandemic it wasn't like that, it got sky rocket for a tiktok meme which make the song more popular, before that. Shadow Moses and sleepwalking were the popular ones from this album.
It may have reached the general public with tiktok but it's always been very popular. Maaaybe not in streams idk, but as a retired emo, everyone was talking about this song.
@@evacados it was but it wasn’t the most, if we consider the time this album came out and how bmth was changing people were talking shit about that song in those days and wasn’t the most well received by those nihilist fans, lol. But yeah I got the point.
@@Dml1991 from people who were a fan before the album definitely, but these people have been mad ever since 😂 but for all the emos that were just finding them out, everyone was obsessed with this song. and it's so funny that it became a tiktok trend. and even more funny that a lot of people think the song is about jesus 😂
Thanks for your effort so we the ones who cant pay can watch this!! Also, now you know why AMO was softer and experimental, he definetly hurt his voice after this and the previous albums
Can You Feel My Heart might be their most popular song but it's actually one of my least favorites on this album. Shadow Moses, Sleepwalking, And the Snakes Start To Sing and Antivist CLEAR. THIS IS SANDPIT TURTLE!
I don't think it was about him originally but I think when they played it live one time, they dedicated it to him. I think they've made up since but I'm not 100% sure.
This band is frustrating for me. I like a lot of what they do, but my distaste for extended screaming vocals prevents me from listening to their music for too long. I certainly give you major kudos for all your work on editing this to get it up on RU-vid! 👏👍 Sign up for her Patreon for her full reactions - it’s worth it! ✌️
