Eminescence is New York's ONLY Evanescence tribute band . Led by award-winning singer Emi Pellegrino, the group pays homage to the famous goth-rock group, fronted and founded by Amy Lee . Evanescence was bigger than life in the 2000's, selling millions of records and outshining even the brightest of pop stars . Their music, like the Grammy Award-winning "Bring Me To Life" and certified platinum "Call Me When You're Sober" found its way into the hearts of many and it's almost impossible to resist belting out the band's classics at emo night . Evanescence is still played yay 8,240,000 people monthly to this day and has amassed billions of views on RU-vid .
Formed in 2022, Eminescence is New York's premier Evanescence tribute and is the only group privileged to boast the powerful vocals of Emi Pellegrino . Emi - who was voted "best Singer on Long Island" in 2020 , after being nominated three years in a row - is a certified voice teacher on RU-vid , but also in real life . Emo is joined by a band with years of live experience under their belt . Consisting of guitarist Jonathan Gunther , pianist Jess Benenati (of Sharp Violet) , bassist Tom Schinkel (of The Reptiles), fellow singer Taylor Stumpf , and drummer Nick Bavaro , Emi's band is prepared to send any audience on a trip down memory lane .
