I attended my first Bring Out Your Lead on Friday! Here's a run through of some of the wonderful gifts I received, and some of the treasure I bought in the Foundry shop!

The Knights are ex-Citadel F9 Feudals. The 'Absolution Squad' were originally play test miniatures for Rogue Trader - using old Citadel 2000AD miniatures as the basis for the sculpts.
Sweet as a lead contaminated nut, thanks for directing me to these ranges, those knights look so decent. "They just don't make them like the did before"- (some do)
So Bryan kept the painted miniatures? When I visited Warhammer World last year I thought they had a poor collection of old stuff. This explains it. I even asked about it but they couldn’t answer. I really need to go to BOYL!
And yes, I would recommend getting along to BOYL when you can. I've been meaning to for years! Foundry also worth a visit in it's own right if you can make it there!
Good question! Middlehammer is probably the sweet spot between the character of oldhammer and the technical quality of newer models. The new stuff is amazing quality and I love that people are still enjoying painting and playing, but it doesn't do it for me.
@@Oldhammerandtongs personally, I like Middlehammer and Newhammer since those are what I'm most familiar with as I haven't been in the hobby for very long admittedly
