I feel like it needs longer teef or thicker, it looks like spoon teeth and I feel like it should be a mix of 'rex teef' andd 'spoon teef'

Those bottom teeth could be curved backwards like a python's. To hold struggling prey and work food into the jaws by walking the jaws.

Agreed. The longer teeth remind me of the nightmare fueled fish in the deepest depths of the ocean. I'm guessing that's kinda the goal of this creature.

The Top teeth look so epic, and the bottom teeth should be a bit shorter towards the back, but the creature looks so darn cool, and I do appreciate its animations, and the work that went into creating everything about this epic Dino. Love it all so much!

I personally love the length of the top teeth but regarding the lower teeth it might look better if they were shortened a bit. It looked rather busy with the length they are at now. I love the way it's looking either than that and I hope everything works out for the best! 😊 I can't wait to see the finished product!

He should totally do the whole stomping thing that the Trex does in Jurassic Park where his tail sways and gets all the movement in the whole body. I also think the teeth should be sorta like SCP-682 where the top is long and the bottom it long too and it collides and slips into the gaps of the top teeth.

My only complaint about the teeth is that they seem like jelly that's slipping in and out of the snout; I think it'll do better if they slip out in just a few frames and stay out for the duration of the roar. Or perhaps they slip out and quiver a little bit. Either way, then return slowly while in a snarling look.

The supersized bottom teeth could go from long front teeth to short in the back. The front can go for the same idea, oterwise it looks just fine 👌👍👌👍👌👍

you talking about that baby carno bite reminded me exactly of a snake bite, tons of needle like teeth, stabbing into you all at once, i got used to it after a lot of time around aggressive snakes. although i dont think i would have enjoyed if that baby 4ft green anocanda managed to get a direct bite way back when, im glad it barely skimmed my arm.

For the animation.... I'd recommend drawing some inspiration from both the anky and the Astro as far as tail movements go. I feel like it's a bit stiff at the moment and the position seems a bit off to me. Might just be because it's in progress though.

Personally, I think that the longer top teeth are a bit better looking, it reminds me of Subnautica’s squidshark, if the lower teeth were a little shorter, I think it would look absolutely awesome.

I think the teeth one the bottom jaw should be slightly shorter than the top, Teeth slowly getting shorter more towards the back, And maybe for the animations on the tail having the tail fan out and the spines shake slightly, It'd give it a good look if not on the broadcast on the threaten, Just my opinion :)

The horns make it look like a dragon. Idk if thats what you want. For the teeth? I would just have them all jut out at once like a cat's claw. Keep the teeth shorter. Also the spines on the back and tail? Shouldn't move as much as they do. It makes it look like it has a bunch of tiny arms wiggling about. The fin movement looks good and works, but not for the rest of the spines. The stomp looks kinda weak, and the extra movement of the head I don't think is that good. It looks better before the stomp and extra head movement.

instead of having the body spines waving, they should sharply rattle together like a rattlesnake's tail, i think that would be a lot more menacing than them waving around, Just an idea :D kinda like that taco's tail during its 3 call xdd

The bottom teeth jetting out should be a little smaller, and you see how the top frontal teeth are long and the rest are smaller and smaller?...maybe the bottom teeth should do that to. Btw I love the head of the creature, it reminds me of a dragon :)

alright i might be the only one with this opinion but the 1 call and the animation of the roar just don't really click together with me. the noise would possibly be a strain to release so i think maybe more movement would fix it? as in- maybe show that there's some strain put to the body when the nycta calls, right now a noise deeper than its current would represent the roar animation better

Since you've said that you wanted feedback: I really love the way it looks but I think that the main body looks a little too "plain". I think you should make the textures look a little less smooth About the teeth: I think they should be spaced out a lot more and have the sizes be totally different for each tooth

Thunder Bird Do you not know about the recode that’s being done to get features into the game quicker, also most likely working on it behind the scenes. It would be cool if each different Nycta had different sized teeth. But I like the smaller teeth more so they wouldn’t break as easily, I think.

I agree. The super long teeth is a little bit over board. And I know he said that right it’s not complete but the way the blue teeth come out is a bit odd. I would suggest take inspiration and watch how the creators of Avatar did the teeth for the flying mount creatures. That looks very natural and I think would be a great inspiration. The tail also has a bit of a kink halfway down it. But I mean it looks amazing none the less.

In my opinion when the nyctatyrannus broadcasts it has a cool animation and all and i know that it's not finished but it doesn't look like he's the one screaming it's not synced.
