My bunny is always, always looking for someone to pet him. If he sees or hear someone coming, he perks up and comes running, jumps on the couch on his pillow and waits for us to pet him.

I literally got by baby bunny a few hours ago. She already comes up to me when I feed her and loves to snuggle! She also really enjoys being brushed. She’s super adventurous!

I always do the mistake of petting too soon, luckily it's been fine but I need to stop doing that😩 I get too excited... 💩

I pick up Molly all the time, most of the time she likes it. She does let me know when she doesn't want me to also. Of course I respect that. I find the more interaction we have the more loving she is. She is 5 years old now. I have had her since she was 3 months old. It also only took me a day to potty train her.

I miss my rabbit so much. The day that he died, we went to a pet store and got a dog (we didn't know he passed) and I saw this baby bunny that looked EXACTLY like him, just with longer ears. (This was about a month ago) It was weird. I went again a few days ago, and he is the only one left in the cage. This pet store takes in unwanted animals and sells them, they don't buy from Mills, so I decided that if he is still there on Friday then I am going to get him. He will need to be in a cage for the first 4-5 months, but I'll let him out for at least 3 hours every day. The cage is 55 inches by 24 inches. I can't wait to bring him home, I already love him/her.

Im getting two 8 weeks old bunnies and they both love to be picked up it depends if they like being picked up or not my 🐰 bunny 🐰 is very cuddly and loves to be cuddled and played with

I know most rabbits hate being picked up, but my rabbit and all 3 of his siblings LOVE to be picked up and held. They are lion heads and they are super cuddly.

Got my little bunny today. He's very shy. He's been hiding under the hay in his litter box most of the day. Only comes out to eat. I'm really hoping he warms up soon. I can't wait for him to want to play and explore.

Mine immediately seemed to settle into our routine which is super hectic due to us moving. Wants to explore everything, but we're still taking it slow until everything is put away. She jumped out of her playpen too. She's only been home 3 days now, but nothing has phased her in the slightest which I feel is a win for a 9 week old bunny. Already got 1 nudge, but she definitely isn't ready to be friends despite letting everyone pet her.

I can say when I got my bunnys I was petting them when they first were in their cage and they were scared for 2weeks but then their cute nature came around after a month 😅

I've figured out my rabbit and his mischievous ways, and he has yet to figure out my sneaky ways to prevent his mischievous ways xD But now we both have to go through the process again for he just got neutered ^~^ his hormones are slowly fading so I'm so happy and excited :)

One way I got my rabbit to get used to me was using one of my jumpers as it's bed so it got used to my the smell of me 😋

My rabbit was banging on his cage and jumped right out to me on the first day. (the rescued old us he might)

A note to bunny owners; You do not need to leave them alone for the first day, we had our rabbit out on the very first day and he was so happy, leaping around on the couches- running up to us and sniffing us, doing binky's, he was generally very social with us, so I guess it all depends on personality really. EDIT; My reccommendation is to visit your rabbits breeder and not just pick one and put it in a basket/box/carrier straight away. We stayed a full 15 minutes just picking out a social bunny and picking it up, petting it to get used to us, when we left we put it in a box and went home. It was strange to find out in this video that a rabbit could be timid on the first day when it wasn't the case to us.

Omg I just found your channel yesterday and to be honest, didn't even want a rabbit. After discovering your channel, I can see the bond that you have with your rabbits and want to experience it (I have 2 dogs and a cat so I already share my love and bond with them too XD). My grandfather has a bunch of rabbits in his shed which he cooks and eventually eats. I've always wanted to adopt one of his but my parents don't want another pet (that's what they said after we got our cat but we still got dogs after XD). When I get a rabbit in the future, I will definitely come back to these videos!! ❤️

People want cuddly pets and say 'I don't want a rabbit" but entertain the idea of a cat. I've never picked up a cat or really played with one. Just watched it walk around and I was fine with that lol

I'm getting my bunnies in 2018, since the renting house is small and we don't have a backyard to plant grass and trees and flowers... and the city were I like now is pretty hot and so I did noticed that they get pretty hot and I tried my best to refresh them but... my mom suggested to send my bunnies back to her friend (she is the original owner) until the we move to our forever home in 2018....

This is a very helpful video! I was just wondering, I'm going to adopt a pair of rabbits that are bonded to each other, will they also bond to me? The shelter is also 2 hours away, so I'll be driving with them for a long time. Will they be more stressed than usual when they arrive home because of the car trip?

I have had my rabbit for nearly three years now and he still doesn't really like me but I keep trying to bond but he is just a kind of loner bunny which sounds bad but he self occupies himself😂

I have a question. I do not have a rabbit yet but I wanna make sure. So my mom and sister leave the house at 9 or 10am to go to work/college and come back at 2pm (My dad leaves, then me, then my brother, my sister and mom leave at exactly the same time, but my sister might leave earlier around 7pm which is my time to leave.). Before that can the rabbits be alone for the amount of time alone...my mom might not feed the rabbit so I am planning to feed the rabbit before going to school, then leave some extra hydrated veggies in their area. I come back around 2:30pm but in HS i'll be home around 1:30pm. In total that's 7 hrs by themselves (If my sister early) or 5hrs by themselves (if my sister leaves later)...can one rabbit be able to stay by themselves for that amount of time? I've done research and almost am 14, so I wonder if the time alone will affect anything...I'll be adopting the rabbit soon around May and I've read to leave the rabbit alone for about 2-3 days (of course change food/water and litter train it) But I'm worried if the rabbit becomes attached once I start trying to make a bond. So is the rabbit going to be ok if I left alone for that amount of time. (Btw I'm getting a netherland dwarf cause their personality traits)

so... I have two bunnies, their cage is on a podest. I have to pick them up to put them in and out. I only have them since Tuesday but I already let them run around my safe room to explore, luke doesn't care if he is being picked up as long as he gets food after, my problem is my other bunny Leia, just like misty she doesn't like to be pet but tolarates it if Luke is near her. Main problem, I can't put her back in the cage without her getting mad at me.. Should I build a fence to give them a specific space? AND should I build stairs for them to get out their cage by themselves?

I'm a little torn on what my rabbit wants. I've only had her for 2 weeks, but she seems to have good and bad days. Just the other day, she came up to me, booped me on the nose with her nose, periscopes up on me, is very relaxed around me. I figured out when she wants to be pet, and if i do it right, she melts into the floor. Other days, she wants nothing to do with me and hides in her cage. She will not eat treats, either. The breeder i got her from said to handle and cuddle her daily so she becomes conditioned to it. I think that probably works to a a degree, because, while Zelda doesn't like to be picked up, she quietly tolerates it for as long as I want to cuddle with her. After maybe 15 seconds of being held, her ears flop back down (Holland Lop) and she seems pretty chill. Thoughts? Should I cool it with the contact or keep it up?

I buy new rabbit do I think I can't pick her up then when I can pick her up?.. and one more question, she always making mess with her food.. what should I do?..

I try to do the same thing following your video until like 1:45, he try to bite my finger a few times slightly, then suddenly a hard bite and bloods comes out… now I am a little bit scare of him as I am not sure if he try to bite me or smelling my fingers…
